I'll start off by pointing out that I'm from New England so naturally, l grew up on Dunkin Donuts and as such, am used to a certain level of quality. There are a handful of Dunkin's in the area and honestly, as much as I hate to say it, this one is by far the worst. For starters, I almost spit out what was left of my sugarless "light and sweet" coffee in reading the "parking lot anarchy" comment below, because it's SO true - I mean, on Saturday morning... its like a scene from World War Z. Did they conduct a regional survey to figure out how much they would be POUNCED on when they opened? I mean, c'mon guys - don't leave that stuff to the interns! Over half of the folks around here are from up north, where Dunkin is a Mecca of sorts... or like that glowing bug zapper on the back porch... no matter how painful the experience, people just keep coming. Management at this location must know this, I think. But that is no excuse for slow (I'm talking Zootopia-sloth slow here, people) and perfectly inconsistent service. Yes, I recognize we're in "the South", and there's a certain speed of service factor you have to apply to literally every fast food chain down here (with the noted exception of Chic-Fil-A, which operates with a level of precision and efficiency that rivals most nuclear missile silos). But when I'm in need of practicing patience, I'll head over to the DMV... not Dunkin. I should note I've been very loyal to this location since it opened, mainly out of "convenience", because I live close by. Some of the staff is very friendly and great; most of them just seem to be in a sort of hypnotic state, moving at a snail's pace and taking frequent breaks to check cell phones (UGH! What is happening in our country, people?). Long story short, I'm going back to the Prosperity Church Rd. location... sorry, gang. I hope you can figure it out. ~...
Read moreDon't go here. This is seriously the WORST Dunkin around. It is NOT clean, whoever said that obviously didn't see the crooked plaque with the sanity score of 94% hanging up (as of 12/16/17). That is really bad. The coffee is very inconsistent and the donuts are prepared hastily and today's vanilla cream donuts were actually crunchy/crusty? It is shocking to see, I go to a lot of Dunkin's and it is crazy how bad this one is compared to the rest. Inside the store (the windows in particular) looks like it's not been cleaned in a month, zero exaggeration. There was a dust brush on top of the donut cabinets this morning... just barely on the edge of the front of the case? Guess it's the dusty cream filled holiday special? I'm never going back after today; I've given this place WAY too many chances. Hope they get it figured out... but I won't be back. Also, the traffic to this place is noticeably less than it was before, even 6 months ago. There used to be a line out the door on a Saturday morning from 7-10a. Now? Nobody there, and this is exactly why. Sure, OMG's donuts just down the road are way better. But this is Dunkin... this location is prime and they are totally...
Read moreI HAD to share this.
My boyfriend and I did a little experiment.
I never make reviews for places but this was an exception. I live right near Concord Mills and he likes to DoorDash me Dunkin’ from this location for breakfast. We discovered the matcha latte recently, as I don’t go to Dunkin’ often. The first time we DoorDashed it, I got a medium and had about an inch and a half missing from the top of the cup but we gave it the benefit of the doubt since it looked shaken. The second time we DoorDashed it, I got a large and the drink was literally missing HALF of the product. I was NOT happy. My boyfriend, being the sweet man he is, said that it might just be how they serve the drink.
We just DoorDashed the same second order while I’m at his house in Fayetteville and lo and behold… I got a full drink. THAT is how you serve a drink. The only reason why I am giving this 2-3 stars is because I genuinely like the drink and the food at Dunkin’. Next time, I will be getting...
