Blaze Pizza — Restaurant in North Carolina

Poor management, a few terrible servers, 1 fly no one was taking care of, great gluten free or cauliflower pizza. I asked for 4 identical pizzas (to take home & freeze). Red vine with lots of Parmesan & basil pesto brushed on with spicy red sauce. Basil leaves. Few jalapeños. Olive oil drizzle & more pesto at the end. Fresh minced garlic.

They tried to make all 4 at the same time. I told them I can’t handle telling 4 people my order, it’s me not you all I said, they said ok. So my pizzas were all in the way of the sauce & cheese. I think they should’ve made one at a time, but that was their decision. The girls around the great guy making my pizza, kept getting frustrated that they couldn’t easily reach the cheese & sauce. The managers and several workers were standing around. My great server guy went to go get ingredients 2 times and no one helped him with that. Then 2 other people kept trying to make my pizzas I said please I can only tell him. They Rolled eyes. The guy got to the cheese on the pizza when a little blond lady who didn’t talk to me at all ( must’ve talked to the girls rolling their eyes) came over & said “you need to leave”... so I threw my hands up & left. Was sad, my have pizza for later in the freezer plan didn’t work & I didn’t feel like arguing. My husband was in the car, saw I was upset from the ladies rudeness & said, there is another blaze at the university of Nc chlt .. just a few miles away. They were great. I told their manager what happened.. asked again, can I just tell 1 person my order, they said no problem. It was great. I’ve warmed up 3 pieces of pizza 2 times in the past 2 weeks. Has been great. My husband is a preacher, it was Sunday. He didn’t feel like losing his religion on poor minded people that don’t care to help. We really recommend university area. And it’s not like blaze at concord mills was sooo busy, there was never more than 3 families behind me & I had no problem with the people’s pizzas going by me...

VERYYYYYY UNPROFESSIONAL ,,NEVER GO HERE ! I literally had the worst experience today going there . I pulled up to order my food to go and immediately the owner met me at the door stating I couldn’t park in the 10 min parking because I was going to be longer than 10 mins ordering my food ( how he knew that I don’t know ) but I just moved my car to the next parking spot considering there was only limited parking and he then still refused to serve me. He initiated he was going to call the police because I told him I could park my car where I just moved it because I was no longer parked in front of the 10 minute sign and there was no time limit on where I could park . Long story short he called the police and the reason why was never stated . I watched 3 other cars pull into the same parking spot that he just told me he didn’t want me parking at and nothing was said at all to neither of those cars , he told the police the reason behind him not saying anything was because he was arguing with me which WAS a lie because I stood outside the entire time until the police arrived . ! Everything is on camera I’m 1000 percent sure . Also I’m African American and something was only said to me . I’ve NEVER had an experience like this at any place I’ve ever been and I’ve traveled all over !. If I could leave this place no stars I would . I was also banned and AGAIN no reason was stated why only because he was the owner and he didn’t want me in his establishment and it was his words against mine to the police . We have to do better as people and stop supporting businesses who treat guest like this because I’m absolutely sure I was NOT the first . Please do not go here . Save your money and your...

Edit: latest review, date 04/12/2025, I ordered a pizza online for the in person pickup. The pickup time was 5:14pm. When I reached on time, pizza was not ready. At around 5.20 when I checked with the person she didn't react anything and I saw that she took my order receipt and sticking it on a takeout box. Next she worked on cutting the pizza and put it in the box and kept it aside. After 5mins I checked again and she handed over the box. When I opened it in my car, I saw it was a pepperoni pizza and my order was Vegetarian pizza. I went back and without even apologizing she gave me another pizza. Now I came back to the car and found out that it had broccoli etc which I didn't even order. Again I went back, and requested for cancellation, while the billing guy started working on the cancellation, lady came back with another pizza (someone else's name on the box) and offered it to me( it was my order). I accepted that and didn't proceed with the cancellation. Worst part of all of these is not even once staff apologized for the service. It is pathetic for sure. And I did mention change of gloves during my order, and the I could see using the same cutter for the meat and veggie pizza. If that is the case why would I even bother asking for change of gloves? I do know that blaze pizza used to use different cutters for veggie pizza, but not anymore. It was a horrible experience for me and never going back ever again. I used to refer my friends so often, but will make sure to discourage them from now on.
