Read moreI had a lovely aquarium visit here. SEA LIFE has all the trappings of much larger aquariums without the massive square footage to cover. This is good for younger kids who have cant walk long distances. My kids begged for items in the gift shop, which had a large variety of colorful souvenirs and I promised the I would get it for them on the next trip. We will definitely be back as it is a nice Sunday afternoon trip along with shopping at Concord Mills mall, and go Kart riding outside of the mall. It’s the kind of place I would get a membership with, in case I need an place to take the kids to release some energy while having some educational entertainment.
The aquarium is filled with young couples with and without kids. Some looked like they were on a romantic date so apparently it’s a date spot. More of a family oriented environment overall though as there are parents, giggling pre-teens, toys and strollers to boot in the dining and snack area.
Upon entrance there’s an attraction for the kids to touch some of the underwater wildlife as well as multiple tiny glass enclaves where the tots get a closeup look at the sea life in each exhibit. The light is dimmed and ads to the the underwater chill vibe. The animals look happy and like they are in a clean habitat that is close to nature. There is also educational displays to read fun facts about your favorite sea creature while you walk through the aquarium. They take your picture when you first walk in so make sure you are...
Read moreI recently visited SEA LIFE Aquarium, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! From the moment we walked in, we were surrounded by stunning underwater exhibits, vibrant marine life, and engaging interactive displays that made the visit both fun and educational.
One of the highlights was the massive ocean tunnel, where we got to walk through a glass tunnel surrounded by sharks, rays, and colorful fish swimming all around us—it felt like stepping into the ocean itself! The jellyfish exhibit was mesmerizing, with glowing, otherworldly creatures floating gracefully in illuminated tanks.
For families, SEA LIFE offers plenty of hands-on experiences. The touch pool was a favorite, where we got to gently interact with sea stars and anemones. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and eager to share fun facts about the animals, making the visit even more enriching.
Haven especially loved the seahorses and clownfish (just like Nemo!), and the interactive displays kept him entertained while learning about marine conservation. The aquarium does a great job of promoting ocean protection, and it’s inspiring to see efforts toward sustainability and rescue programs.
