Be prepared for: Long wait times. Small portions. Slow service / no sense of urgency. Food quality is hit and miss. The building is always cold Keep an eye out for hair in your food. It's happened to me more than once here! Kitchen staff is not covered. Everyone would rather be somewhere else. Including me.
I want so terribly to like this place. It's convenient from where I live and admittedly I've been here more times than I care to admit. And each visit I have had excluding maybe when they first opened has been a terrible experience as a paying customer. The kitchen staff are not a well-oiled machine. Long wait times for not a lot of food. Today there was maybe 5 tables and it took them 20 minutes to cook an eggs Benedict (which included a hair!). Numerous times I've ordered meals and it comes out cold or overcooked. I've had eggs benedicts completely fried. Their portions have changed throughout my numerous visits. Today there was a hair in my food. Which understandably these things can happen. That being said, their kitchen window is open to front a house, and I can clearly see all of their kitchen staff is not wearing any sort of covering. Not only that, after I showed the waitress the hair while she was friendly and gracefully took the meal off the check. I still ended up paying $5.79 for a single cup of coffee and a tip and no apology from the staff. I expressed to her that I so terribly want to like this place. It has all the potential in the world and every time I come here there is some kind of issue that I experience. All I want to do is walk in here order what I want, eat it, pay and leave. All that the waitress said in response was, "I know". I think that says a lot about my experience. When it comes to the service, while maybe your waiter or waitress can be attentive, the overall experience is very slow. On top of that every time I come here I see their front of house staff members lounging around. There is no sense of urgency or cater to their paying customers. They're either hanging out by the expo having conversations, some may be doing side work understandably but I look around at customers that need attention. What this proves to me is a very severe lack in leadership and accountability by the management. I even once came here and I saw the manager sitting on the ground at the expo line. If I were the owner of this establishment I would be in this building fixing the apparent issues because these are very easy fixes. This location has so much potential. It could be making three times what it is now. I don't think I'll be coming back however for quite some time. But I said that the last time. Extremely disappointed. Sincerely an eager paying customer that...
Read morePart of this review is a five star review. My family and I were here this morning and we were excited to try a new place to eat. First, the good. The food here was excellent. 5 stars all the way. It was delivered quickly, it was prepared perfectly, and everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. My biscuits and gravy were top notch. The grilled biscuits were good, the gravy was hot, filled with sausage bits and had amazing flavor. My daughter loved the waffle breakfast sandwich and my wife's cinnamon french toast was excellent, I tried some of her hashbrown potatoes and they were great. The coffee was excellent and I could see myself drinking many cups on any given morning. In the realm of food Eggs Up Grill is knocking it out of the park. Why 2 stars then? The service we received was so disappointing. We came in behind another couple who were seated before us. We sat down when the restaurant has less than half its tables filled and we waited for ten minutes just to have our drink order taken. All the while the other couple who walked in before us had their drinks delivered and orders taken before we were even noticed. After our drink orders were taken (along with our breakfast order because we had waited so long) we got our drinks but we had received any silverware. The hostess did not provide them, the person who took our order did not provide them, neither did the person who brought our coffee. It would have been nice to ask for some but all the wait staff were huddled at the front not doing anything. When our food finally came we caught someone long enough to ask for some utensils. I mentioned previously that the coffee was good and would love to have more but the only time a refill was offered was after we had finished our meal. I really wanted to like Eggs Up Grill and the food was delicious but in going to a restaurant there is a basic level of service that is expected and if it is not there I can't be. I hope everyone who goes there enjoys the food as much as we did and hopefully has a better experience with the staff. I know everyone has not had the same experience as I and my hope is this was an isolated incident. 5 stars for food, 2 stars for service. UPDATE 11/2/2021- Per their request I emailed Eggs up grill on Oct 5, 2021 as they wished to connect with me directly. After almost a month I have not heard from...

My party consisted of myself, my mother, my son, and my daughter. Due to inclement weather, I asked my family to remain in the car while I checked the wait time. We were the only people of our background present in the restaurant at the time. While I have experienced similar environments before, I did not anticipate any issues.
Upon approaching the hostess, I was informed there would be a 20–25 minute wait. I asked if we could wait in the car, and she agreed, instructing me to keep track of the time. After approximately 10 minutes, I returned inside to check our status. I discovered that my name had already been scratched off the waitlist, and the hostess had moved on to parties listed after us.
When I inquired, the hostess claimed she had called us and began to act as if she were preparing to seat us, but then walked to the kitchen. She returned and told me the wait would now be longer, citing online and DoorDash orders as the reason, despite the restaurant having numerous empty tables and other parties being seated.
At this point, I asked my mother to take my children back to the car and requested to speak with the manager. Instead of addressing my concerns or asking what had happened, the manager immediately told me to leave or he would call the police. I was shocked and deeply upset by this response.
I believe my family and I were treated unfairly and possibly discriminated against. The staff’s actions—skipping our party, providing inconsistent explanations, and the manager’s refusal to listen—were unprofessional and unacceptable. This experience has left us feeling unwelcome and...
