I just had the most needlessly complicated experience here. My boyfriend tried to order online and got an error, so I just went in to see if it went through and, if not, just stand in line to order. This was what happened:
Employee 1: Did you have an online order? Me: I'm picking up for someone who tried to order online but got an error. Do you have something for (boyfriend's name)? Employee 1: Oh, our computer is down. Do you want to just try ordering online again? Me:...No, I'm already here, so I'll just wait in line. Me: stands patiently in line, texting boyfriend to see what he wants Employee 1: Melissa? Me: looks up confused No, the order was under the name (a name that is clearly not Melissa). Employee 1: looks at receipt and puts it up to my face to read Melissa? Me: stares blankly No, that is not my order. Employee 2, who has been nearby the entire time not helping anyone until this moment: Do you have an online order? Me: No, like I told your coworker, my online order didn't go through, so I'm waiting in line now. Employee 2: talks to me like I am a moron Well ma'am, you see, if you stand there, we'll think you're trying to order because that's the spot for people who come in to order. Me: I am waiting in line to order here. Employee 2: Oh well how can I help you? (There are three unfinished sandwiches on the line in front of him for the guy ahead of me. He couldn't help me at this moment if he wanted to.) Me: Sir, please just let me stand here and wait my turn until you're finished with this gentleman's order. Employee 2: takes my order after other guy's order is done and treats me as politely as possible while also managing to treat me like a horrible shrew
I don't understand what was so complicated to understand about this. It wasn't even particularly busy or loud, especially for the time of day. I should have just left the second time Employee 1 asked me if I was...
Read moreThe place was clean, but I asked for a footlong and she cut it in half and started making a 6". I told her I wanted a footlong, so she throws that one away and grabs the other half and starts making another 6".
Told her again, she threw it away and grabbed another loaf. I enunciated and gestured that I want just a LITTLE, TINY bit of mayo. Just a little bit.
She proceeded to choke the mayo like the neck of her worst enemy, banged it on the counter and squeezed again. Mayo was literally running down both sides.
I just stood there for a solid minute staring in disbelief, wondering whether to just walk out, or salvage what I can since I hadn't eaten all day.
She wasn't angry or spiteful, just didn't understand English well enough.
I took the sandwich and managed to eat about half before feeling sick. Won't be back to...
Read moreI feel bad for Dakota he is an outstanding young man and was the only one that welcomed us and made all three of our sandwiches while the other 3 employees just stood there and gossiped and watches the whole time. Only time moved was when dakota needed some of the bread crunchies after he asked for them. The 3 of them made it hard for Dakota to be able to hear us and they didnt seem to care. I'd fire all 3 of them and pay Dakota the difference cause he is the reason for people to come back and he's the reason ill be back. Know the saying you make a dollar I make a dime? That's what I saw today it was sad. Tables weren't wiped off and floors were dirty to just be standing around talking letting one person do all the work. Dakota also checked us out too. I'll be looking out for ya Dakota I want your service...
