I have been a Little Richard's fan for years and I mean years eating at several locations across the area. When this location open nearby I was really excited so my first visit there ended in extreme stomach pain and discomfort obvious signs of food poisoning. After maybe 6 months I decided it had to be a fluke and even though management seemed less than concerned with my previous experience I decided they had to be a a rare mishap and I tried it once more. I don't know how I'm sure that the food at this location can be so poor when I know this franchise has the ability to do so much better at every other location. The service is horrible and I will leave it at that but when you put your restaurant in the hands of teenagers it's as if you're saying that you would put your own life savings and retirement fund in the hands of teenagers and only hope and pray they do the right thing to benefit your success in life, now we all know that would ever happen so I don't see why this restaurant believes it is in their best interest to trust teenagers with their own success and a management team that is less than connected to not only customers but their staff. Barbecue is in effect BBQ, however I took 3 friends of mine there and of the three friends not a single one cared to finish their plate and these are people that frequent Little Richard's with me at other locations multiple times a year so I know it's not just me. Bottom line, it always seems that when you get that one store when restaurant you been hoping would be located near you that you always end up with the one that you don't want to eat at or frequent and this is another prime example of that. Perhaps is changed in the past few months and I only hope so but after multiple bad experiences I'll never take the chance again and I heard you too not waste your time and go to locations that gave this restaurant it's reputation to begin with before putting a sour taste in your mouth to the brand...
Read moreMy son and I ate here last week. Food was good as usual. It’s been about 2 years since I have eaten here. Our waitress was a childhood friend of my sons that we haven’t seen in about a year or two, so as you can imagine we were excited to see her and have her as our waitress. She sat at the booth with us for about 2 minutes tops (this was after she made sure all her other tables were taken care of, drinks refilled, etc) When we left, I told my son we would have to come back more often now that we know she works here. Her service was top notch and I even witnessed her interactions with other tables, and the customers seemed to adore her. Come to find out Little Richards suspended her for a week because she sat at our booth with us for a couple of minutes. The manager reported to the owner that she sat at our table for 10 minutes, which was incorrect. Is Little Richards policy not to allow servers to sit or interact with customers? I’m disappointed in the owner and manager of this establishment. Your food may be good, but your morals are horrible. If this is how you treat your staff, you should be ashamed. Ill be sure not to step foot in your establishment(s) ever again. AND I’ll be sure to spread the word of how great you treat...
Read moreThis place is absolutely country charming! The service is excellent! There is a good variety of bbq to choose from. The brownies that are precut and wrapped at the register are worth every penny. The only issue I have with this place is, I like my food to come to the table steamy hot. I went there a couple of times and I was never served hot food. The flavor is there, but I hate food that feels like it has been sitting around for twenty minutes waiting for someone to order it. The second time I went there I specifically asked them to make my food steaming hot not warm. Well, it happened again. The server asked me how it was and I smiled and said "fine", because I didn't want to put a damper on my friends' lunch break. So, I just boxed it up and took it home so it could get properly heated in a microwave. I don't think I will be back. Well, maybe I will for one of those brownies!! I also love their corn fritters and onion...
