Taco Bell — Restaurant in North Carolina

Once in a blue moon and when the stars and planets align I will visit Taco Bell. This all ended up occurring when my lovely mother-in-law decided to come visit. She knows my wife will summon me to pick her up from the airport and because she knows this AND because she loves me SO much, she always books the LAST flight into Charlotte (you know, the ones that arrive between 11PM and 1AM, albeit the AM flights would technically be considered the first flights, but whatever). Every time this has happened, I've caught myself nearly falling asleep and almost driving our massive family hauler off the road and into the dirt Monster Jam style. I've concluded that the "thrill" of this near life or death experience is what motivates my mother-in-law to book these flights (the other motivation being able to NOT miss My 5 Day Finance or whatever it's called before she leaves to visit). Because of all this, we ended up visiting Taco Bell at like 1:30AM. I have no complaints. The server was friendly, our order was right, and the food was decent. Go here only if you like waiting 50 mins for your food. My online order online wasn't ready when I got there after 10 mins. There was no one at the counter. There were 5 other people waiting for their orders and grumbling about the long wait. They appeared to be prioritizing drive-thru over people waiting in store. Someone finally appeared after 10 mins and assured us that all orders were being prepared, and service was slow due to too many orders. After waiting 15 mins and all the others had got their food, I had to call out to get someone to help me, only to be told my order was not in their queue! I showed the mobile app, which clearly stated my order was ready 10 mins ago. I am pretty sure they must have given away my order to drive-thru. They found my order in their system and reprinted it. I had to wait another 15 mins for it to be ready. My previous online order a month ago also took 30 mins, but I had dismissed it as a one-off case. I usually order 4 burgers and chicken nuggets, so it's by no means a large order. I will not be...

I Ordered food off of an app at this location. When it got to my doorstep, little did I know I was NOT going to get the order I wanted. My drink was wrong, I didn’t get both burritos I ordered for myself, my husbands burritos were the wrong meat that was ordered, and my sons quesadilla had jalapeño sauce on it when I specifically put no jalapeño sauce. I tried to call multiple times to get my issue fixed and nobody would answer any time. So I paid for an order that wasn’t even right and couldn’t even get a hold of anyone to get it fixed or refunded.

This is not the first issue. There have been numerous times my husband has tried to go there after work because they are open late and they have closed early for no reason. Numerous times. At least 3 or 4.
