Waxhaw Rock Store Bar-B-Q — Restaurant in North Carolina

A little disappointed - put an order in online so I didn't have to be gone from work for too long. Got there, the order hadn't been looked at. Waited, got the food - went to get sweet tea and nothing came out. No biggy. I asked if we were supposed to use the jugs in the fridge (next to the sweet tea tank). Someone said "that's unsweet" and walked away. Got a cheerwine instead and went on my way. Got back to the office, the only thing that was warm was the cornbread 🙁. The bbq would've been okay if it was fresh.

I stopped bye for some dinner tonight and notified that they were out of chicken wings. Aitian offered to make some new ones if I had 15 minutes to spare. So I walked across the parking lot into Walmart to kill some time. When I returned Aitian presented me with a nice helping of fresh chicken wings and drumsticks with my side. Don’t judge a book by its cover!! They have good sandwiches with nice portion sizes. We had the pulled pork, chopped brisket and the chopped chicken sandwiches. They all three were very good. We also had the hushpuppies which was perfectly cooked, also the baked beans and cucumber onion salad was done very well. This establishment is very clean and the staff was very polite.
