I recently had the pleasure of visiting an incredible boba shop that I cannot stop raving about. This place truly deserves every single one of its five stars. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly made me feel comfortable.
The menu was extensive and filled with an impressive variety of boba flavors, teas, and toppings. It was hard to choose just one, but the helpful and knowledgeable staff were more than happy to provide recommendations based on my preferences. Their enthusiasm for boba was contagious, and their passion for crafting the perfect drink was evident in every sip.
I opted for their Guava Rose Tea, and it was a game-changer. The tea was rich and flavorful, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. I could tell that only the highest quality ingredients were used in every aspect of their drinks.
What impressed me even more was the attention to detail and presentation. Each drink was meticulously prepared and served in a charming, Instagram-worthy cup. The aesthetics were on point, and it was evident that the boba shop took pride in creating a visually appealing experience for its customers.
The staff's friendliness and willingness to engage in conversation made the visit even more enjoyable. They were eager to share their knowledge about boba and took the time to explain the origins and unique qualities of different teas and flavors. It was clear that customer satisfaction was their top priority.
The seating area was cozy and well-designed, with comfortable chairs and cozy corners to relax in. Whether I wanted to catch up with friends, study, or simply unwind after a long day, this boba shop provided the perfect ambiance.
Lastly, the prices were reasonable and fair considering the high quality of the drinks and service provided. I felt like I was getting excellent value for my money, which is always a plus.
Overall, my experience at this boba shop was exceptional. It ticked all the right boxes: fantastic drinks, friendly staff, inviting ambiance, and reasonable prices. I highly recommend this place to any boba lover or anyone looking to try...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGlad there are options for drinks and food around town now (have been coming to Topsail for decades) but this one was a bust. I give 3 stars because it was clean, people were nice, the fruit drink was acceptable and dip n dots was nice. But the namesake of the shop- Boba, was not good at all. They do not serve tapioca boba. They are very clear about this once you arrive. They serve alternatives that are not as satisfying or chewy or even tasty (personal opinion, clearly). Iām thankful they had milk alternatives but the tea itself tasted like 90% water, 10% milk, 0% flavor or tea. Other members of our group also had bad experiences with their ābobaā/milk tea. The cost is outrageous as well. I really hope the residents donāt have to pay these tourist prices.
Edit: thanks for you reply! My displeasure of the boba is more about the watery nature of my drink and not the unusual type of boba (I love agar, red bean, and other strange additions in drinks). Maybe the worker was overwhelmed or not doing their best that day, maybe the milk alternative was almost out and water was added to get more life, or maybe it wasnāt shaken and I got all water. Would like to give it another try before I leave. I love that you are an inclusive and LGBTQ+ supporting company, and I want to support more businesses like yours. Again, everything besides the Boba tea was great. Hopefully our watery boba was a fluke. Iāll give an updated review after trying it again. āš»
Oh, also- price wise where we are from, and every where Iāve traveled, a boba tea runs ~3-5$. I am almost certain we were charged 8$ for ours here but I could be totally wrong as I canāt find the prices listed online. If Iām totally wrong about the price of the boba I need to figure out how our order ended up being sooo dang expensive for 3 people getting 2 bobas, 1 fruit drink, and 1...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEDIT: I am editing to address the response from the owner. I know what matcha is, drink it every day. I also know that the way it was prepared was completely incorrect as my drink was unmixed powder. Both of us asked to have our drinks remade and my husband basically gave up after it continually came back gross. As per multiple other reviews, the tea is watered down horribly, and even if you ask for it to be sweet, it never is. While I appreciate the reply, learn to take constructive criticism instead of making excuses for poor quality. I am sure your other items you serve are great, but I'd work on the quality of your milk tea for sure. We didn't ask for a refund because we love to support small businesses and want to give them the benefit of the doubt. Good luck to you in the future.
Ordered a matcha tea. I received water, barely any milk, and matcha powder. They did not mix the matcha properly at all. It was completely flavorless, grainy, and absolutely disgusting. I was unsure exactly what my husband ordered but when he took a sip he nearly threw up. I do not recommend the boba tea to anyone at all. For $8 a cup, I would expect so much more considering that most places are significantly cheaper, and you actually get something that tastes good. As I am writing this review about an hour after my drink, I have thrown up twice. Definitely NOT a good boba shop. I do NOT recommend their boba at all, but I can't speak for anything...
