Untouchables Burgers Bakers and Pizza Makers — Restaurant in North Carolina

Perfect lunch spot! It’s located in a shopping center type area. And I was shocked to know they had a drive thru window, which is helpful. I came inside to take a look at menu, and I was quite impressed. They had a large seating area and quite a few tables with guests eating for a lunch hour. They were relatively busy in my opinion, and still able to meet and exceed my expectations. The lady who took my order was super nice and helpful. It was my first time in here, and I was unsure of the flow for everything. I ordered salad bar to-go and a baked potato to-go. They salad bar had fresh and full items, and a large variety of things to choose from. I love a good ole salad bar and especially when it’s stocked with homemade dressings. Everything was fresh and good. I had to wait for the back to get my baked potato, but it was ready in ample time. And I absolutely loved the baked potato bar and options for toppings. It was kinda set up odd in my opinion, but had a lot of options to choose from and make my baked potato 🔥! My meal came with a couple pieces of bread too which was nice. Everything was great! Service was great as well! And to top it off, I asked about their sweet tea and her recommendation was spot on! If you’re from the south and drink sweet tea- then you know we want good & sweet sweet tea! A lot of other places don’t ever live up to my standards for sweet tea! But this place did! And so we’ll, I bought like 2 half gallons! (To keep at work and take home!) overall I definitely recommend if you’re wanting salad or baked potato. I didn’t try any pizza or anything else than that, but I loved it! And I think the extremely great customer service-friendly, helpful, considerate, and timely-was the seal to the deal! That just made my experience so much better! (It seems just about everywhere else these days-if you are lucky enough to get any customer service from the employees is either none to bad to horrible!) Well this was a disappointing experience. I haven't been here and dined here in years. I grew up in the Area and went to Bandy's and this is where we went after our wrestling team won 2A state championship in 2006! So this place had a special place in my heart so I took my GF expecting here to really enjoy it and have a good time..... Well we were really disappointed this place has really gone down. First off the prices are not correct online and they no longer have a pizza buffet 😢😢 The atmosphere is awesome and has always been great especially if you like the Movie the Untouchables. That being said if you're hungry and in the mood for Pizza or a Salad this might not be the place especially with all the new restaurants being built in the area. We asked the girl at the counter what she recommended and said all the way pizza and it was 20 for a medium. My GF got a Pepsi and wanted a salad and they asked if it was one trip or unlimited. It was 6.75 for one bowl and 11 something for the endless trip. She didn't ask how much the one bowl was but just for a Pepsi and a medium pizza and her salad bowl it was over 33 dollars which was alot for what we got. The Salad was bad too! She said the lettuce and other stuff tasted like it had sat out for a long time and was wilted. Then there was soup up there and she couldn't even get that because all they gave you for 6.75 was the one bowl unless you paid extra. Then The pizza was so bland. You couldn't even taste the sauce it tasted so watered down and the crust was Doughy the toppings weren't great either. This is a place to come if you want to get what they want to give you, and not what you order. Last evening, ordered two pizzas in the restaurant, and asked for to go, since the restaurant was empty and everyone was cleaning up an hour before posted closing time. Waited a while, and the very nice lady who took our order brought the pizzas fresh from the oven. We drove 20 minutes to the house, took care of our pups, and looked forward to enjoying our pizzas. One was as ordered, the other was not. It was late, made an alternate dinner, and decided to call this afternoon to hopefully get the same crew. Instead, got a snarky young lady on the phone who said she was a manager, who argued with me, stating that that's just the way they do pizzas, no matter what you order, they will do it their way. I explained after she read the receipt that it was not as ordered, and again she stated well, that's just the way we do it. I mentioned that I was not advised. She mentioned it's on the website. I stated I was in the restaurant when I ordered, and nothing was said to either one of us standing at your counter, and it's not on the menu board on the wall. She said it doesn't matter, that's just the way she does things. I asked her again are you sure that you're the manager? She said yes. I said well thank you for letting me know, and here we are.
