Very disappointed. Just left from ordering to-go inside during the lunch rush. Let me start by saying I have work at Starbucks as a supervisor and FULLY understand being short staffed and overwhelmed.
The 15 minutes that I was waiting in line I witnessed the person I’m assuming was the supervisor for today humiliate and chastise the cashier for everything he did in front of at least 10 customers.
When I first got in line the cashier was going back in forth from cashiering and running food outside to the waiting cars. While he was outside someone working the drive thru loudly asked if anyone was working the register. The supervisor heard this and came up front grumbled about him not being there and took care of 1 customer. When the cashier came back in she chastised him and told him he was backing everyone up. As he’s working on getting the line down and providing cups for the orders, she then tells him not to do that and just get the line down because it is ridiculous to have this many people waiting.
After I ordered I was waiting and the supervisor handed me my food, she asked if I was given a cup and I said no, (because he was told not too) and she huffed and rolled her eyes at him and gave me my cup. My co worker ordered her food and a cookie which he used the tongs and placed it in the pastry bag and handed it to her. When the supervisor was gathering my co workers food and went to grab a cookie, my friend told her that the cashier already did it. The supervisor then loudly told the cashier that he can’t do that because if it isn’t in the large Wendy’s bag then the store can get shut down. I’m Food Safe certified, how is this a rule?
As we are heading out the door she tells him to gather the cups for the customers (that he got in trouble for doing earlier) his customer walked away and a new one came up and he politely greeted them. The supervisor then raises her arms in exasperation and yelled “am I not speaking English?”
All in all the cashier remained calm and provided good service while he was being treated so badly. The supervisor consistently shot him terrible glances and made very rude comments to him while he was trying...
Read moreNot a huge fan of Wendy's, but it's conveniently located across from my apartment complex, and my boyfriend likes it, so I order here often. The food is usually fresh and decent quality. A few weeks ago, we went to get breakfast, which he's never had before. We arrived about 15 minutes before they stopped serving breakfast. After waiting in line, when we reached the register, there were 11 minutes left before lunch started. The employees didn't acknowledge us at all. No "I'll be right with you," no eye contact, nothing at all. When the cashier finally approached us, there were 7 minutes left until lunch. We tried to order breakfast, and the girl told us breakfast was over. So we asked to speak to the manager. The manager told us the same, to which we responded that we still had 7 minutes. She rudely whipped a screen around and pointed to show us the time, which was incorrect; the time on the screen was about 10 minutes fast. My boyfriend was upset by the way she was talking to him and asked for her name because he wanted to elevate this situation to corporate because she was acting inappropriately towards him, and she refused to give her name. Then she walked off loudly talking about us. When he spoke with corporate, their solution was to send two vouchers for a free meal. The vouchers were months expired. The staff here isn't bad but she acted so inappropriately, I never would have expected that from management anywhere. Maybe a teenager working...
Read moreIf I could give this store a zero star review I would. I ordered 8 biggie bag meals through the drive through and when I was home I only had 7. Tried to call the store 8 times and no one answered so I drove the 25 minutes back to get the meal. I went through drive through told them I was missing an order and they told me to go to the window for which the so called manager asked me for a receipt. I did not receive a receipt but told her I can show on my bank account that I was just there and she smartly said what’s that gonna show me. She had an attitude from the get go and proceeded to ask me what sandwich. She got the meal and shoved it at me and shut the window for which I heard her say the b word. My sister went in and asked for her manager for Wilkins she said she was the manager. She asked to speak to her privately and she refused with an attitude. My sister went on to say she had a bad attitude and asked for her manager for which she pointed to a plaque on the wall and said to my sister are you crazy and walked out the door because it was apparently the end of her shift. If this is how you treat customers who just want to make sure they got what they order then by god you my friend does not deserve to be in the management position. I will be calling corporate first thing Monday morning and know that from now on I will be taking my business...
