Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in North Carolina

The food is good, but pricier than most fast food. The staff is quite courteous and professional. The wait is often unreasonable. The dining room and restrooms have been clean every time we’ve been there. Faster service would have earned them four stars. Update: I’m bumping my original review up to 4 stars after one of the franchise owners stopped by our booth to ask us how things were. I mentioned my concerns and he graciously spent 15-20 minutes discussing them. He feels like Zaxby’s is often unfairly thrown into the fast food category simply because they have a drive-thru window. He explained that they never use frozen chicken and everything is prepared fresh with top quality ingredients. I asked him what his biggest challenge was and he explained that finding good help topped the list. I’ve heard the same response from many other businesses lately. The food is ok here and the crew are all pretty nice. Management , not so much! I'd say that Gary is relatively rude and has no consideration to anyone!! I showed up three times to interview with an asst manager that was out sick. He didn't have the decency to even shoot a text to tell me . Then when I did finally get into the interview with her, I was told I'd be a great new team member . Ashley was not at fault here ! She as a matter of fact was also lied to ,in this whole process. Coke "No Ice" had Ice. Upcharge for two different sauces on a 10 piece wings. Found this out only after paying. Was asked to wait in a stall so my order could be made "fresh". Which to them meant cold. And when I asked about my missing ranch sauce they had the audacity to ask me to go back through the drive thru so I could PAY for it. I contacted the manager, hoping to let her know about my bad experience. She really just added to the bad experience with her half- hearted reply. Venezia's Pizza is across the street and has wings that are cooked "to order" and they don't act like a special request of "No Ice" makes you a weirdo. Aaaaaaaaaaand Wait For It...
