Waffle House — Restaurant in South Carolina

We walked in and sat ourselves as they were busy and didn’t greet us. We sat down for 10 minutes before someone came to take our order. We had no menus and had to ask for them. The waitress walked away and took another 15 min to come take our drinks and food orders. We ordered and waiting and it got progressively busier. A group of men came and set at the bar top and got served their drinks before us. When she brought our drinks, one of the cups was visibly dirty. once Our waitress brought our food she realized that she forgot the extras on one of our hash browns so she had bring it back to the cook to be fixed. We ate and one of us realized there was a beard hair in our food. The waitress came to check on us and told us that she was the only server on the clock, but there was clearly a full staff, so I’m not sure why she was the only server. We told her we were ready to pay and she asked us to hold on a second so that she could go help other tables, which is fine. We had to remind her that we wanted to pay and she took our card and walked around with it for 10 minutes. Sunday always has church rush so if she was the really the only server on the clock, it was extremely overwhelming. Not happy...

Did an online order because that's the only way you can get a to go order on the weekends. They don't accept any phone calls on the weekend obviously. I had to rush to the restaurant just to put in a special request on my order. While waiting in line to put in the request, it was hot as hell. It was literally cooler outside at 89°. The restaurant was super packed with no dine in seats available. The one and ONLY thing that struck all of my nerves was when I saw one their cooks (a female), wiped sweat from her face with a paper towel with NO GLOVES on, standing right over the already prepared food without lids covering them and empty plates waiting to get prepared. That's one thing, the next thing was she didn't wash her hands afterwards, didn't put on any gloves, but had the audacity to pull down more clean plates, went to fridge for eggs, and started preparing people's food! Oh no ma'am! Who raised you to be this disgusting?! That was all the red flags I needed to see for this location to never ever return there. While I'm at it, I will highly put it out there for others to NEVER EVER go this slack...

went there 6:40 am on the Apr 13th Unit number 1453 ordered a bacon bowl and a two egg breakfast with over hard eggs. I asked for a side of grits and please put the bacon from the breakfast bowl on the side. First of all the guy cooked the eggs wrong he scrambled them and then the waitress took the eggs used her bare fingers and swiped the eggs on to the breakfast bowl. She thought I could see her, but I did. By this time after messing up the order totally the food was cold. Then I look at my receipt and there is no break down of the prices however there is a service charge for the waitress waiting on you $3.00 and another $3.00 for the plastic wear, then I realized she charged me $4.00 for the breakfast bowl bacon that I asked to put on the side. That should of been free because that comes with the breakfast bowl. Sent an email to corporate nothing and I would like my money back. That place has went down hill and the bacon is so cheap.
