Waffle House — Restaurant in North Charleston

I ate at this location tonight and was completely dissatisfied with service. The "waitress" who served me served the drinks first and then the meal less than 10 minutes later. By the time the dinner was served my water and coffee needed refilling. Instead of seeing this, the waitress served my food and walked away and never refilled my drinks until asked. She had an attitude when finally asked to refill my drinks and didn't even remember what drinks I ordered. Only when this confrontational episode ensued did the "waitress" do her job by asking ANOTHER customer if they needed anything. I was so pissed at this that the pie I ordered I left behind. This incident happened July 31, 2023 on or around 7pm-8pm. I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese grits bowl, a coffee, an ice water, and the pecan pie I left behind (and who the idiot cook didn't know was in stock and he works there) disgusted at this place. Unless this review is taken seriously I'ma write a review and respond to reviewers on a frequent basis to bring awareness to some snotty employee who makes less than...

Dirty and nasty. All the tables were dirty that we had to ask for a table to be wiped off. Service was sooo bad. There was a waiter sleeping and the rest were talking/gossiping while 3 tables of patrons waited. When we finally got to order, after 10 minutes I was told that they were out of biscuits and sausage gravy. I changed my order and waited another 10 minutes and it came out wrong. My friend ordered and received their food and the hash browns were burnt on the bottom PLUS she didn't get her bacon. Another tree 10 minute wait and finally received limp bacon. Our food arrived at different time because of all the screwups that we didn't even get to eat together. After a few bites, we were ready to leave. I'm talking 2 or 3 bites. The only good thing is that when we went to pay, the manager came and told us not to worry about it because they messed up and we didn't really eat anything. They need to be get...

If I could give no stars I would! There were 3 emoyees....2 cooks and 1 waiter...3 customers...1 to go and 2 dinning in. 3 of us sat down and the waiter looked at us and didn't say a word.1 of the cooks said good morning and continued cooking. We sat at the low bar area and awaited service as the waiter turned his back to us and evidently had to hold up the wall near the register. The same cook asked him where his book was with him giving him attitude while telling him it was in the back room. That cook had to go retrieve the book to see the order again. He then handed the book to the waiter who took it and walked into the back room. He never returned and after being there 12 minutes with no service or further acknowledgment, we left. I can only assume that the waiter didn't like the uniform we were wearing! It was ok though...the next one we went to provided great service. This one will never see me again unless I am...
