So I headed up to the checkout lane and there were two people ahead of me. The person at the counter was purchasing a set of throw pillows that apparently didn't scan so the cashier was trying to type in the information. The second person had two items, one of which didn't scan, and so he had to type in that one as well. And let me tell you when they say that something moves as slow as molasses it was this young man. He talks slow, he poked each key very slowly typing in the numbers that he apparently couldn't even read because the customer had to read it to him. Three times, very slowly, like he was a child. He chit chatted about pointless irrelevant things while the line built up and customers tried to finish paying, and omg the line built up until it was wrapped all the way around to the other side. Out of about 40 minutes waiting to get checked out being 3rd in line. This guy did not appear to be new, the manager left him to his own devices and it took him that long to even call her for help. Then she came up and pressed two keys that simply logged the price and... done. Yes this was extremely frustrating. If it was on my own personal time it wouldnt have been as bad, but no probably still yes. But I was trying to work and get my doordash order delivered and it...
Read moreThis place was amazing. I will absolutely be going back. We needed a smaller Christmas tree for our new house (we just moved from another city, where we had a home with vaulted ceilings to a 1960âs ranch here in Charleston). Iâm pretty sure this place is decorating Heaven. There was a huge amount of seasonal decorations to choose from. Additionally, there was everything to set up a home/apartment that you could need. All the odds and ends for a bathroom, linens, furniture, mattresses, accent pillows, and on and on. I will definitely be going back for the home decorations that arenât seasonal. Their lamps were comparable to Target prices (however, I think At Home has a lot more coupons) and the lamps were way nicer and more interesting. There was a huge variety of things to hang on the wallâeverything from cute signs to prints. The sizes also ranged from small to quite large. And the photo frames were great. Every size and color, plus lots of neat bulletin board type products. And then there were tons of great things to place on your desk/table tops. And I was impressed with the non-seasonal centerpieces and topiaries, plus the selection of fake trees and plants. It really was a one stop shop. It felt like a Hobby Lobby, but...
Read moreWas looking for a cabinet. Lots of things. They had that were 25% off but the prices are a bit high for the type of furniture it is.
So I've been asked to update my review since it had been a while since I had been at the home store called at home. Went in and actually found everything that was needed to make my mom and dad's Reese for their home door and things for their tree also was able to find stuff for our home and also was able to do some Reese for neighbors and Friends. People were very friendly and kind. Today I went back for a second time as I needed more stuff! Go figure. Found a few of the pieces that I needed to finish some of the other stuff I had bought and also received a 15% off birthday gift a 15% off VIP gift and $220 coupons for what I had purchased. I was able to use everything except one of the 15% off tickets. Once again great store they seem to have up their game last year they ran out of Christmas stuff this year they are close to it but not quite. Definitely...
