Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in North Charleston

I appreciate the opportunity in sharing my experience on this platform. I know things happen, but the restaurant was out of French fries prior to me beginning my order. I asked if we placed an order for a meal that includes fries would it be discounted. The cashier replied no and asked if I wanted something in place of the fries, no problem. Then she said would you like a sweet tea, when I replied no she stated well that’s all we have and diet drinks. Ok, no problem. Then when I got home I bit down on the core of the lettuce that was brown, bitter and turned my stomach. I’ll save my few dollars for another restaurant. I understand things happen, but there is no way a fast food restaurant should have less options due to someone not placing a shipment order or a truck not arriving, a young rude cashier AND serve spoiled lettuce in your salad. Never had a bad experience at Zaxby’s, but I guess there is a first time...

The food and service I received from this particular restaurant has always been from one extreme to the next. I never understood until 2 of my children that worked there helped me understand just how poorly they treat the employees and were not given breaks. To make matters even worse my son that just returned home from the military went back to work at Zaxbys until he starts college. The manager John and the corp. Guy Winston both made negative and hateful remarks to him about his military service. As a veteran this kind of bullying and unpatriotic disgust sickens me to the core. I will never eat at any Zaxbys again. I suggest the powers that be invesigate who is managing the show and they will easily find the problems based on what I have found. I ordered online like I do most times because I work nearby and I don't have time to wait in line, I have to pick up and go. Today my order was all messed up. First I ordered and paid for a club sandwich and I only got the regular sandwich, my tater chips were burnt and disgusting and my extra order of chips didn't have the sauce like it's supposed to in the box. I didn't receive a cup and the cashier walked away before I could tell her this and I just left because of time. I work at a medical facility and I wasn't able to come back in and return the food or wait to ask for a cup for my meal that I already paid for. I wasn't happy at all today with my meal.
