I’m saddened and sick to my stomach that I had a sandwich that had a unknown mass in it. I contacted Chick-fil-A about it and they showed no empathy whatsoever. ( I waited to make a review, because I wanted to give Chick-fil-A a chance to make things right.)
After contacting their corporate and the location I received the sandwich from, my husband also had to call them.
Finally after calling corporate a 2nd time my husband received a call stating they wanted pictures of the unknown mass. Upon sending the email with the pictures I will attached to this review . The manager named Peter told me he had no idea what the mass was and maybe it could be something off the lettuce. In his words, “our lettuce is pre washed so it’s possible we miss that”. I told Peter “Out of all the most dirtiest vegetables I’ve had to interact with from a garden, I’ve never seen whatever this unknown mass was that I found on my sandwich.” Peter continued to announce that he had never seen this before to another unknown employee in the background and had no idea what it was. Peter told me he would send the pictures to his producer of his vegetables to see if they can identify what the unknown mass was.
Three days later at 10am on Saturday July 9th 2022, my husband and I received a call from Peter stating the mass was a “BLUE BERRY”!!! This is a insult to my and everyone else that has looked at this mass intelligence to tell me that mass was a BERRY! I only gave two stars because I received a refund for my $60+ Order I had to throw out due to me not wanting any other family members to have “possibly” contaminated food.
I have reported to Chick-fil-A on July 5th 2022, that after I took just one bite out the sandwich. I noticed something wasn’t right. I had not opened the sandwich upon receiving the sandwich nor had I added any condiments to my sandwich before taking a bite. Upon the first bite I noticed a unfamiliar taste, which caused me to look into the sandwich. After looking into the sandwich I realize that the lettuce did not look too good to me it was very bruised, so I decided to remove the lettuce as well as the pickles. I did not get any tomatoes on my sandwich. Upon doing so, I decided to close my sandwich and was going to take another attempt to take another bite, but before I took another bite something told me to check the sandwich again. This is when I found the unknown mass! After realizing that this mass was not familiar to My Husband nor myself. I decided to use a paper napkin to assess the unknown mess by mashing it into the paper napkin. I realized a reddish type of residue came from mashing whatever the thick unknown mass was which to me at first glance resembled blood. I then took the mass and put it onto a Chick-fil-A bag and use a Q-tip to further assess using a magnifying glass app on my iPhone. I took pictures as well as videos to try to compare it to a Google picture search. Which nothing came up other than bird mites, scabies, and bedbug eggs. During the course of investigating and researching what this particular mass was. The tip of my tongue became numb. I also became very nauseous hours after I stop investigating the mass. I end up having a very bad headache which continued throughout the night until the following morning. I chose to use self care on my self because we are a military family getting ready to PCS to another state and going to a emergency room would greatly affect my funds. It’s clear that Chick-fil-A is not the top restaurant that we all think they are. They do not care about their customers, they only care about the appearance to seem like they care. This opinion is from my experience with Chick-fil-A from this past experience.
I say this to say check your food as well as your children food so you won’t have the anxiety I’ve had the past few days of unknowingly Ingesting a unknown mass as I did in...
Read moreThis by far is the worst Chick-Fil-A I have ever eaten at or ordered from. Every time we get food here, there’s an issue. My family loves Chick-fil-A so we didn’t learn our lesson very quickly. The first issue was an order ahead from the app for curbside pickup. My wife sat outside in the lane for over 45 minutes waiting on our order. Once she got out of the car to check why it was taking so long, they stated they threw out our order and it would have to be remade. Did we receive any apology, no. Any compensation (not what this is about but it shows care) no. They stated it would be a few more minutes and remade the order. Second issue occurrence was going through the drive through. They forgot two whole meals and neglected to put the actual chicken on a Chick-fil-A sandwich… not sure how this happens but we turned around and went back. They fixed it and sent us on our way. Third time was breakfast (should be a different team, maybe better luck) ordered ahead with the app and picked up curbside. The food was cold and the hash browns were hard as if from the day prior. Now today, we ordered for delivery, received the order pretty quickly and was hopeful all would work out. Not quite. One sandwich had a whole jar of pickles on it to the point the bottom bun was soaked. Literally over 10 pickle slices. Other issue is the chicken patty for the other meal wasn’t much of a patty. It had no chicken in it. Only breading and crust. Literally no chicken. About the size of a half dollar and as thin as a piece of cardboard. We tried calling the store numerous times, was forwarded to the catering department (not sure why) never received an answer. Finally gave up after 15 minutes of trying them. Through all of this, we have spent countless time, gas driving back and forth, and have been frustrated endlessly. Never once have we received any compensation, no extra food thrown in for the inconvenience, not even a sorry from a single person. It’s not about compensation or getting anything for free. It’s about taking care of the customer and letting them know they matter. The only other time we’ve ever had an issue at another store, they remade the whole meal (telling us to keep the other), gave us a free shake and brownie. I didn’t ask for that, but it shows the care. We obviously don’t matter to this store and we don’t know if we want to return. Chick-fil-A as a whole stands for more than this, but locations like this one make a bad name...
Read moreThis location is so rude. Specifically to Uber and DoorDash drivers but I’ve also had their poor attitudes aimed at me even just as a regular customer. I drive for Uber and DoorDash and when I went to go pick up on the inside, I was ignored for a very long time until someone told me the next time I come to pick up I need to go through the drive-through line which is usually insanely long and put my hazards on. This makes picking up food from their location extremely difficult and inconvenient as every other restaurant in the entire state is walk in and pick it up from the counter or a specific pick up location like a shelf area. The two times that I have followed their instructions…The first time they told me somebody had already come and picked up the order i.e. another driver stole the food because they didn’t make sure that who was picking up the food actually had the order on their screen and confirmed it. The second time I picked up from their location I waited in an incredibly long line, only to get to the front and have every single employee ignore me. I tried to make eye contact and smile and wait for somebody to look in the window and asked me who I was there to pick up, but everybody just kept bringing bags to the cars behind me so I eventually just dropped the order and sorry poor customer, who by the time they finally acknowledge a driver, your food will be ice cold and soggy but I’m not doing this and I’m never coming back to this location again.
Here’s a little piece of advice for you, if you don’t want to offer food delivery, don’t! Turn your Uber and DoorDash tablets off and cancel the food services and just do your regular dine in and drive-through. You all are so unapologetically rude to the drivers that it’s glaringly obvious you cannot stand us. Don’t worry, I’ve taken the hint and I will not be back. Not as a driver...
