I recently went to this restaurant and the staff messed up my order twice in a row & decided that instead of resolving their mistake they threatened to call the police.
I did not confront them in any way, i did not swear at them, i did not in any way do anything outside of normal food ordering.
I have had issues with this staff member being rude to my father before and I believe that she decided to remove me from the restaurant because she is consistently bad at her job and when I asked for a manager, she told me she would call the police on me, and that if I returned to the restaurant, I would be trespassing and they would call the police. I have never had the police called on me in my life.
The issue was she put salsa on both orders when I asked for only on one order.
She was upset when I politely corrected her, and when making the next bowl, she put about half of the proportions into the bowl and then put the wrong toppings on the corrected bowl, because she was moving so fast and angrily that I was unable to tell her what I wanted. She started out the interaction angrily and I could do nothing to stop her from being angry.
While I was checking out I ordered a coca cola and I tried to get my free guacamole, but something upset her about the tone of my voice and she immediately grabbed both meals and threw them in the trash, like she did the other meal.
She threw away about fifty dollars worth of food and lost a consistent customer. I have seen this person be rude to other people. I am dumbfounded by what happened here.
I took a photo of her and she put a paper bag over her head so nobody could see her face. She was not wearing a name tag.
I believe that these people probably spit in your food when you are not looking. I have never dealt with a more angry person in customer service and I lived in the South Bronx.
When I called the restaurant and asked for a manager she answered the phone and said that she was the manager and that if I returned, she would call the police.
I had my elderly father in the car and did not have time to deal with the ridiculous situation if the police showed up for my crime of trying to order a burrito.
I have attached a photo of the person.
This person should not have this job. I would encourage the actual managers to reach out to me as I would be happy to explain...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent to the Lebanon chipotle right after work got there at 750pm. Tried to get food but the employees said they were closed. Even when the sign on the door said 8pm. I have been there once or twice before and always had a bad experience. I had chipotle at other places and everything is always amazing. I donāt know why but this Lebanon chipotle always disappoints. Management has to run this store properly. They are doing something wrong here. Also why do you close so early! Other chipotleās I have been too close at 10pm not 8pm. Maybe this will stop workers from closing 30 minutes before the actual close time.
Update: Okay so I gave chipotle one more try on January 11, 2022. Another horrible experience. I have been to many chipotle in the New York and New Jersey area which are much busier and receive excellent service and most importantly the food. However, I have been to this chipotle establishment twice and both times I cannot get my food.
My first experience is detailed above and I understand I walked in the restaurant at 750pm and they had a posted closing sign of 8pm. So I understand restaurants sometimes put their food away early so maybe thatās why I didnāt get served my food. However, on this second occasion I checked on the chipotle app for this specific restaurant their operating hours and it said that they closed at 10pm. To my surprise I walk in and they have no food on the line. Which I find odd! So I ask an employee are you closed?. And they respond āyes we are closedā. However they are supposed to be open until 10 pm. I donāt know who runs this restaurant but they have to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFood is good....if you can get any! While most other restaurants in the area are fully open for business, the Lebanon Chipotle and their neighbor Panera have barricaded themselves in. Some days they're open at 11, some days 12, some days only at dinner time. Some times you can only order on the App, sometimes you can only go inside and order at the counter (which is much better by the way, they're routinely 20-30 minutes behind on the app). Takeout orders are, at best, skimpy, and if you do manage to get an order through earlier in the day, the chicken is often fresh from the refrigerator. I used to go here every Monday and it was just as good as any other Chipotle for a while, but the last 2-3 months it's become very hit and miss. I'm sure they're having problems getting employees, but when the app is taking orders and the store itself is locked, there's a problem. Why can't we just open the doors? Every other restaurant in the area does. Well, except for Panera, which is currently drive-thru only, no online orders, no setting foot inside. Which is odd since the Panera and Chipotle in Hershey are business as usual, pandemic over. So it's not a company-wide decision to ban people from the dining room, it's a Lebanon problem. There is mention of a recent health inspection in other comments....this location did have a problem with leaving dirty containers sitting on the counter when they were busy and that's what the health department busted them for.. It wasn't a problem with the food. However, since then, they've rarely let people inside...
