Ruby Tuesday — Restaurant in North Cornwall Township

This establishment is unfortunately still plagued by staffing issues, especially kitchen, and poor management. After two bad experiences in the past 3 to 4 months, we decided to give it another try last night (Fri 3/7) at the request of our granddaughter. We arrived at approx. 7:40. The place was not terribly crowded for a Friday night, maybe a dozen cars or so in the parking lot. We were immediately seated. After 15 minutes waiting for a server , I finally got up and went to the bar to inquire who was handling our table. Finally, a server showed up and apologized, mumbling some reason. Given the wait, we ordered everything at one time (8:00) - - drinks, appetizer and and entrees. The child's pasta was served approx. 20 minutes later. Still no drinks or appetizer. The bourbon glazed salmon arrived 15 minutes later. Still no appetizer or drinks. After asking about our drinks, they finally arrived 10 minutes later. Despite asking the server 3 times about the last entree, my wife's burger never did make it to our table and neither did the appetizer. We finally requested the check at approx. 8:50 and paid only for the food that was actually served. During our 90 minute fiasco, the server spent most of her time sitting with an acquaintance at a nearby table. Did not appear that she had any other tables. The acquaintance was served something immediately upon arriving. This will likely be the last straw, which is a shame because Lebanon does not offer a ton of choices for this type of food where an adult beverage can be enjoyed with dinner. And surprisingly, we never received an apology from the manager before walking...

Don't expect much from this place for the price of it. I will start off with what me and my girlfriend had ordered. My girlfriend ordered the shrimp fondue, smoke house burger, with tater tots, and a coke. I ordered a 1/2 rack of baby back ribs with hush puppies, and mashed potatoes. I also had 2 Blue Moon Beers. Our bill came to $51.00 before the tip! OUTRAGEOUS! The cost of the 2 Blue moons were $12.00! I could have bought a 6 pack for that price. My mashed potatoes were nothing but a bunch of lumps and liquid. The hush puppies could have used more dipping sauce. I found myself eating a few without sauce, and only dipped the others 1 time. The ribs were okay but small, at many other places when you order a half rack for this price, you get a good sized half rack. The ribs did not have any sauce, even though when ordered with it. The flavor, was mediocre, and the ribs were dry. My girlfriends meal came with 6 - 8 tater tots. It was hardly a meal for her, as most of her plate could be seen though all of the food. The food also took about 40 minutes to get to our table. At the time of our visit there was hardly anyone in the place. I have spent $40 elsewhere, and that includes the tip for better food, and much larger portions.

The only good thing I can say about this place is our waiter was nice and hospitable.

The best advice I can give you. SPEND YOUR...

Food was amazing, however, there is more to a restaurant than just the food.

The service was truly awful. Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by absolutely no one. We stood there, alone, for about 5 minutes. Then we heard shouts of, "where's the hostess!" from the back. Then a miserable looking hostess came jogging up and finally seated us.

We sat down....and sat there.....and sat there.....and sat there....maybe 30 minutes went by before anyone even acknowledged we were there. A guy walked by and asked if we had been waited on in which we replied, "nope, not at all." He said that he'll go look for our waitress. She finally came running back, took our drink and food order, and ran off. A few minutes later she was back with our drinks (she forgot my wife's water) and ran off again. 20 more minutes later, our food was served. I asked for a water this time, she even acknowledged that she would get it,.....never received it. Legend has it, that to this very day, we still haven't received any water. Once done eating, we asked for take home boxes, never received them. We paid and left.

The restaurant was NOT busy (so being "understaffed" is not a valid answer). Just a simple attitude adjustment is all it would have taken to make our experience more pleasant. We will not...
