Mick's All American Pub — Restaurant in North Cornwall Township

I was not impressed with this establishment. The amount of money for the items on the menu, is crazy for the mediocre taste. The bartender recommended the wings. On the menu it states they are jumbo fried hard. They were not jumbo however, they were fried hard. I ordered Maryland wings and the pub fries. My wings were tossed in hot sauce with a drizzle of seasoning. I saw on the menu they were medium with old bay. I should’ve clarified. I don’t like wet wings. I had to ask for more seasoning because there was little to none. Then we charged $4 for all flats. Are you kidding me? I know of establishments charging a fee however, $4 is insane. I got a half dozen. For that price I couldn’t gotten a dozen and ate what I wanted. The waiter did inform of an upcharge. Again, I should’ve asked. The pub fries. One slice of crumbled bacon on top. Fries alone were good. They just weren’t worth the price. I’ve gotten fries and wings at the Gin Mill that were less expensive and tasted better. My friend ordered a made to order pizza. The pizza was $10 baseline. There were four or five additional toppings charged at $1.50 per topping. Two toppings were olives and jalapeños. We only received less than a baby’s sized fist of those. So that pizza cost $16-17. Ridiculous. I could’ve went to papa Johns for a better quality and tasting pizza for under $17. The only good outcome of this meal was the blu cheese and alcoholic beverages. Thats it. Then staff was vacuuming at 10pm. We assumed they were closing at that point. The restaurant does not close till 11. It’s one thing to clean up but you’re vacuuming while we were still finishing up our drinks in the area where we were seated. Will not...

This is far and away the worst experience at a restaurant I have ever experienced in my life...and I'm old. I ordered a burger with swiss cheese bacon and sauteed mushrooms. When it came out the mushrooms were not cooked at all (cold) and there was no bacon at all and the burger was undercooked. I complained and the wait staff said they would redo the burger, my wife chimed in and said that all I needed was sauteed mushrooms (I hadn't even noticed the missing bacon yet). I didn't want anything from the kitchen at this point because I have heard horror stories about sending food back. I waited while my wife got a box to take her food home with us. The wait staff brought out sauteed mushrooms and I scraped the old ones off and put the fresh on and tried to eat it, but I just couldn't at this point. We paid our bill and were getting ready to leave and the employee said we had another burger done, you can take it with you. I DIDN'T ASK THEM TO MAKE ME ANOTHER BURGER. I refused it and as we were walking out a guy comes out of the kitchen..(The cook maybe?) and said in passing have a nice day! and I replied sarcastically "Yea right" then he said "Don't ever come back" and my reply was "don't worry we won't" and he proceeded to follow us out. Muttering something to us. I actually felt physically threatened at this point and kept walking. Wow. He even stood outside staring at us as we pulled away.

Edit: the disingenuous response to this review has solidified my lack of desire to return to this establishment. Aside from the out and out lying (I assure you no one was pleased), the implication that we sprung some unreasonable request on staff is apalling. As I said, we called in advance and asked if it was possible for a party of 9 to be accommodated, and we were told yes. If we had received an honest answer, we would have been able to make a more informed decision. We do not and have no reason to know the specific measurements of your tables and to expect us to know that "yes" means "kind of" is absurd.

Pros: Lovely staff Easy parking & easy to get to Good acoustics; you can hear the people you're seated with even when it's packed.

Cons: We called ahead (they do not take reservations) for a party of 9 to see if it was a feasible destination for us. We were told they could accommodate us. When we arrived, we were led to a very skinny booth that could maybe comfortably seat 6 grown adults, and we wound up squishing in elbow to elbow and getting an extra chair for our 9th at the end. There were no alternatives available. I wish they had been honest about their seating availability. Most of our meals came with salads. Most of our party got a full salad with their dressing of choice. However, those of us who asked for Caesar dressing were given a plate of limp lettuce with a vinaigrette on it.

While the food was decent enough to warrant a possible second chance, this was a terrible...
