Eskina Breakfast & Lunch — Restaurant in North Fair Oaks

I really wanted to like this place as it has a high review score on google. Unfortunately, I did not like it here. My waitress Kimberly was kind and professional and it is not her fault that we were served our food after an hour of waiting. I was feeling patient today but once the food finally came, I was shocked at how basic and mediocre it was. The blta I ordered I could’ve made at home with my eyes closed. Two little strips of bacon , quarter of an avocado one tomato and thin slice of toast. No chipotle sauce like the menu mentions. Then they charged us extra when I asked for chipotle sauce. Ok the side was breakfast potatoes that I did not enjoy because it tasted like paprika and that’s it. I asked for a mango mock tail and was given mango juice. The waitress happily replaced it but it just tasted very watered down. Thankfully my husband liked his omelet. The blta was 18$!!!!!! (Picture below)I didn’t even eat it I was so upset. The crepes were fine. Our bill came up to 77$!!!! For essentially , watered down juice, toast with a little bacon and smudge of avocado (cold btw) , and a small crepe and omelet. Sooooo disappointing. Obviously God wants me to stop eating out. I am now on my way...

Darlings, if brunch were a beauty pageant, Eskina just snatched the crown! This hidden gem had me LIVING my best breakfast fantasy with flavor that was giving EVERYTHING! Not only was it refreshingly uncrowded (mama needs her space), but the service? Izzy, sweetie, you deserve your own standing ovation - attentive, fabulous, and serving hospitality realness!

We gagged over the Mexican Benedictos - those English muffins crowned with perfectly poached eggs, chorizo bringing the spice, avocado bringing the luxury, and that chipotle hollandaise sauce? DIVINE! It was dripping with flavor like my last performance number drips with sequins!

The Huevos Rancheros, children, were a religious experience! Those crispy tortillas supporting refried beans and eggs like they're the supportive undergarments of my show-stopping gown. The chorizo was seasoned to the GODS and those potatoes on the side? Honey, they were giving crispy, seasoned perfection!

And parking? A whole lot just a block away, no need for these platform heels to work overtime! Trust and believe, Eskina is where the magic happens. This queen will be back to slay another brunch day!

Breakfast was absolutely amazing!!! My husband ordered the veggie omelette, and I went with the avocado toast. Both dishes were beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The omelette was packed with fresh vegetables and cooked to perfection, while the avocado toast was generous, creamy, and topped just right. The breakfast potatoes were crisp and golden without being overly greasy, which is hard to find and such a treat. I was especially happy with my eggs. They were done exactly the way I like them, cooked through but still tender, not runny or overdone. Everything tasted fresh, wholesome, and thoughtfully made. The service was just as impressive as the food. Our server was attentive, warm, and genuinely friendly, which made the whole dining experience even better. It felt like they really cared that we enjoyed our meal. Overall, this spot exceeded our expectations. From the quality of the food to the welcoming atmosphere, it’s definitely worth the visit!
