McDonald's — Restaurant in North Kansas City

Not much to see here. Lol 😆. So y'all KNOW how I do. Got a mad craving for a Quarter Pounder with extra cheese 🧀, fries 🍟 and two ranch cups. It was a pretty stressful day. I was at the hospital with a loved one and while they were waiting on test results I decided to give in to a guilty pleasure. Don't y'all start with me. 😉

Jumped on my phone and found the nearest McDonald's and there less than a mile away were those beautiful "golden arches". Honey look, I couldn't get my (you know what) in that parking lot fast enough. I quickly parked and ran in there like my life depended on it. Seriously, like I'd never eaten before.

I tried to compose myself long enough to state my order to this very pleasant young man. Hoping he wasn't reading the desperation in my face. He took my order efficiently and professionally. My order was delivered prompt, hot and fresh. The restaurant itself was clean and well kept. The restrooms were also well kept. It seemed to be running efficiently and like a well oiled machine in there.

Upon receiving my order I "briskly" walked to my vehicle and proceeded to let that seat ALL THE WAY back! I intended to devour this meal and that's exactly what I did. Everything was made to McDonald's perfection. Ray Kroc would be proud. If you don't know who that is - check ya facts.

Anyway my craving was crushed and my belly was so happy and satisfied. That is it and that is all. If you're in the area and you find yourself in the same boat as me. This store has always got some sort of an issue going on... I have repeatedly had issues with them and at the present time I am working for a delivery service through him I am having to have more contact with this store than what I would like but it seems like every time I have an order that comes through and it's late at night they are having a system failure every single night and they are unable to provide customers with services because according to them their systems are shut down for this amount of time every single day which in my mind would make sense for them to maybe contact the delivery service companies to let them know that their systems are crashing at this specific time through this specific time every single day so that they aren't wasting clients time or money for no reason but unfortunately apparently their management isn't all that capable of doing so. On this specific occasion I had gone through to the drive-thru and I had ordered a head on a mobile order and when I got there they said that their systems were down which is no big surprise and that they wouldn't be able to take any orders for a 30 min to an hour or more delay... I did not cancel the order I came back the following morning and went ahead and follow through with my order checked in gave them the code and they told me that they didn't have it although I was showing them the code on my phone physically they wouldn't give me my order very...

I am yet again disappointed by this specific location. I think leaving a one star review is too high for level of incompetence at this McDonald’s. The staff here ( especially the overnight staff) have no respect for the customers let alone their own job. The amount of money I have spent ordering food from here just to find out that they purposely did not include items is appalling. I had ordered DoorDash which included around 5 easy items. I received no notification that they could not make one of the items which was a shake. When I got my food I saw that they had not put the shake in the bag. So I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt by saying they might have just forgotten it. I went ahead and put in another order for the second time that included a shake. Again, I received no notification that their “ ice cream machine is broken”. I was incredibly disappointed to receive my order only to find that they had yet again not given me a shake that I had payed for. The amount of horrible reviews that I have seen from this location is immense. There is a clear lack of management there and the employees have no respect for their job.
