We went to Meierotto Jewelers after looking at SO many diamonds/rings online. Honestly, I’ve driven past it hundreds of times and always figured they were out of my price range. My best friend’s daughter’s best friend went there with her boyfriend and they purchased a beautiful ring. After her telling my friend about their experience and price points, my friend immediately called me and said “Go there!” So I stopped on my way home from work. The showroom itself is gorgeous!

I met with Stephen Walker. He was kind, patient and completely understanding of what I was looking for. You see, my boyfriend had given me an emerald/diamond band for Christmas and it holds a very special place in my heart. Therefore, I want to use it as a wedding band when the time comes. I didn’t want an engagement ring to overshadow the band, but to compliment it. We looked at several styles of bands as I already knew what I wanted the center stone to be. Went back down a week later with the boyfriend and Stephen was able to assist and show him what we had looked at. We made a decision and purchased a beautiful ring. Since then, my best friends daughter went and upgraded her center stone in her wedding set and my best friend is upgrading hers as well for her anniversary! Meierotto (and Stephen!) were able to present us with a price that literally beat all the prices of stones/rings that I had found online. Not just in price but with a bigger/better (in cut, color & quality) stone. I own multiple pieces of heirloom/antique diamond jewelry (European old mine cut is one of my favorites) but decided to go with a classic cut (Asscher) in a lab created Diamond. Research is my thing and I’ve always been “no that’s not a real diamond” but after all the research I realize it IS, just not mined from the earth, so it is more ethically sourced.

And score on the military discount as we are both veterans! Thank you, Stephen for the time and attention you gave to us. Not once did I feel rushed or pushed into something that I didn’t want. I was presented with so many options and your expertise helped me narrow it down and follow my heart.

I will recommend Meierotto Jewelers to anyone looking for their next jewelry purchase. I’ve always stuck with a local jeweler in my hometown, but I will definitely be coming back to Meierotto more often!

A couple months ago I started looking for an engagement ring for my (now) fiance. I went to Meierotto because I had quite simply heard that they were the best. I had heard correctly. : )

Jenny happened to be one that was helping me that day. We spent hours going through everything they had, looking up rings online, finding ones that were close to build from, etc. It was amazing. When I saw a ring online, she even spent the next two weeks calling everywhere to see if she could get it in person for me to look at to compare to the one I had selected!! When I finally made up my mind, she even was able to rush the setting because we were leaving the country within the week! (To Propose of course! :)

If all that wasn't enough... I proposed in front of her family's farm in the Mountains of Colombia (yeah, gorgeous) the week of Christmas.. but when i went to slide the ring on her finger.... it didn't fit!!! Absolute panic. I frantically called my mother back in the states to see if she could contact Meierotto about getting the ring adjusted when we got back in town a few days later to announce our engagement! A big point of having a shiny new ring is to show it off with family and friends afterall! ; ) My mom spoke with Carol about our desperate situation. She immediately took it upon herself as if this horrible situation was happening to her own family and made it an absolute priority for us to be able to be squeezed into their busy schedule in time for our announcement. I have traveled the a large portion of the world, and I can say that there are few (if any other) individuals that will treat complete strangers as if they are family they way that she did. To say that Carol and everyone at Meireotto's went above and behind, is an egregious understatement. We will never be able to thank them enough for making sure that our time to shine was truly special.

As we pulled away from the store, my fiance looked over at me and said: "there is a reason that family owned stores are the best, they just get it! We will never buy jewelry from anywhere else."
