Hawaiian Bros Island Grill — Restaurant in North Kansas City

Hawaiian Brothers is amazing delicious food. This is one meal my family of 4 can agree on and enjoy. Each meal comes with white rice, macaroni salad and a choice of protein. Two large orders is enough to feed 2 adults and my 2 children with enough leftovers for at least 2 adult lunches. 😋 Sometime I hide the leftovers and eat them for lunches on 2 different days. Bad girl but so much yum!!

Tonight we had amazing Huli Huli Chicken which is marinated teriyaki chicken that is grilled. The second dish was Honolulu chicken, it is chicken infused with fresh garlic, green onions and sesame. Again we have a full box of food leftover and I am excited for tomorrow's easy leftover lunch!

There is parking out front of this location and around back. There are several parking spots reserved for carry out or curbside pickup , which is convenient and makes the stop quick. I was very impressed with the several different seating areas. There are quaint small tables for one or two people. Larger tables for groups of 3 or 4. Then a huge seating area with lots of tables by the TV where a large group could meet up or have a team lunch.

I enjoyed the decorations around the restaurant. My son really liked the surf board and hanging net or basket lights. The tiles on the wall where fountain drinks is filled is really pretty and reminded me of the many shades of the ocean. This is a great experience and wonderful food. The check out ladies have all be very kind and super nice!!...

Large, clean and very modern building with a simple menu that is delicious and healthy. We decided to try a sampling of a few different items and they were all very good. If you were looking for complicated, this is not the place. Thankfully I love me some rice and chicken. Everything we try those delicious, and the macaroni salad is amazing. If you enjoy a spam do not miss out on the little spam rice sushi side. It's a steal at $2.25 There's only one reason I'm giving them four stars (and this weirdness is mostly on me) I had a little problem finding the OBVIOUS AND LARGE parking lot for pickup on the west side of the building. So if you're coming up from the south, on the east side of the building, and there's no parking, and then you turn right in front of the building and you see a parking spot and you take it... You are not in the right place. 😀 So I went inside (got some great pics) and was directed to the other end of the building. I walked down there and told them that I wasn't sure where to park and I parked in front, could I just get my food? That would be no. I had to go back out to my car and then drive around to the eest side and park in one of their many numbered spots that I didn't even notice.🤦‍♀️ Once I did so, a very friendly young woman promptly brought my food. My only question is - why couldn't I grab my food when I was inside? No matter! We will definitely be back, and now I know...

Amazing customer service from a young kind man up front. I believe he was a manager. He demonstrated actions of a very dedicated worker (rare nowadays), spoke very kindly to everybody (even the staff❤️and) helped me figure out my menu selection. The pineapple frozen drink was amazing! I got the chicken choice that was both sweet and spicy. You can substitute rice and pasta if you don't want to try it with something else as well. You can even have one kind of each so you can try each one of them. The menu is very friendly as well. The restaurant is extremely clean, very accessible to get pick up orders and bathrooms as well. The cutlery and the drinks are on the side and there is a ton of space to sit if you guys want to just hang out. The team was very upbeat and there was a very experienced lady up front as well and she kept the areas cleanand stocked. When the food was done the gentleman brought it out and said my name. Then he asked if I needed anything else or any extra sauces. That right there is customer service. I also seen the to go/pick up young lady in the back walk all the way to the front and get a special drink for a gentleman. Even though he could have did it himself she was extremely busy and to go but still took time for him. Pretty cool Thank you for making my first experience...
