This is one of my least favorite places to eat in my area but itâs within walking distance and itâs right by the park we go to so we go out of convenience. Thereâs a really friendly and upbeat cashier in the morning thatâs why I gave them 2 stars. Three times in the last 6 months I went here for breakfast and 2 of those times they made the wrong burrito. Itâs like they donât know whatâs supposed to be in the burrito so they just make up their own thing. Today was so bad it made me want to leave a review. I was going to the grocery store right across the street so I wanted to eat first so I didnât buy a bunch of junk. But rather then go here I drove all the way down to the McDonaldâs on Ann but it was closed for renovations. So I thought what the heck Iâll get some Carlâs Jr. I spent $8 for two items and one was on the value menu, the spicy crispy chicken sandwich and the 5 piece chicken strips. You would expect for the price Carlâs Jr. Charges that the food would be a better quality then most fast food places but thatâs not the case at all. The chicken sandwich looked like someone sat on it in the back to keep it warm and the chicken fingers that were more than $6 which you could get cheaper in a restaurant were all in little pieces like they cleaned out the fryer and dumped it in my box. There was maybe three whole strips and the rest was in pieces some burnt some missing the breading. I told the manager and she just said âlet me go seeâ and never came back. When I got up to leave she looked at me and then pretended to be busy so I just walked out and took this as a lesson to not put convenience over quality anymore and stay away from this place. Update: bought a hotdog here thinking they canât mess that up... see the photo, who in there thinks this is how the buns...
Read moreThe girl with glasses working up front really needs to be retrained and given more support. It looked like she was doing everything by herself, which slowed things downâmy food took 20 minutes to come out. If the back staff isnât cooking, they should be helping at the front. Instead, they just stood around and did nothing to assist her. To make matters worse, she seemed unsure whether to prioritize the drive-thru or in-store orders, so my food just sat there while the back staff clearly knew it was ready but didnât bother to step in. And this was with only one car in the drive-thru.
On top of that, I specifically asked her not to put her hands over my fries. She paused, ignored me, and continued until I raised my voiceâonly then did she acknowledge me. Thatâs unacceptable and unsanitary. She went from handling the cash register, to the drive-thru window, to wiping her hands on her pants, and then directly over my food without gloves. Completely disgusting.
Management needs to step in immediatelyâprovide proper training, enforce food safety standards, and make sure employees handling food are...
Read moreThe staff is friendly but they messed up on my order 3 times already. No cheese means NO CHEESE. I was hesitant to go through the drive-thru because you get 'seconds' compared to what you get going in the store. I bought the #1 meal w/o cheese and with onions rings instead of fries and a small drink. First of all, my food was served in a SMALL bag for my meal...there was no room to close it. No napkins either (probably because there was NO ROOM). I honked to ask for napkins but no one came back so I left. The burger looked real good and I enjoyed it until I tasted the cheese. There was a slice of cheese in it. The onion rings were cooked well but all were broken and stringy onions. That is what I usually get going in the drive thru lane. If I went in the store they wouldn't be all broken and stringy and packaged better. This seems to be common practice with this food chain. I did not finish the burger and it was a huge mess...it fell apart after eating half. Will not be...
