Went to see, John Wick 4 last night. This was our 1st time in this theater. I had a tough time knowing where to go being as there are zero signs to let you know that there's even a movie theater in a casino! We parked by the parking deck and walked inside. Only there do you see signs telling you which way to go. After this and walking what felt like 15 mins just to get to the theater and you have to walk through all of the people playing machines and watch out for the cocktail waitresses that are walking around with drinks on trays! And smelling the cigarette smoke from those playing the machines. We finally reached the concessions stand which is where you must show your paid ticket on your cell phone for them to scan if you paid online like we did. The show was for, 5p. Because of an early showing we didn't expect many people. Maybe 30 people tops were there. The theater is very clean. I was very impressed as well as the bathrooms. The seats are clearly marked so you can find your proper seats with no problems. Walkways and aisles are very well lit. They played 30 mins of everything you can think of before the movie even started. I was getting annoyed by that time. So not, 5p showing but, 5:30p showing really. The bathrooms are nearby so easy to go and get bk quickly. Girls at concessions very nice and the manager asked us how everything was when we were on our way to the theater with our drinks etc. The theater is on the smaller side. Not alot of wiggle room for those who would like to stretch their legs out. This is about a 2 1/2 - 3 hr movie. So get comfortable! Now when I chose my seats online it read u couldn't skip seats in between people. So I chose a front mid row that didn't show that anyone had chosen seats in as of yet. However I noticed that people did have space between the next couple when they sat in their seats in the theater. I'm not sure how that was done or if I didn't do something right to allow my selections to take place in that manner but it's something to be aware of. I'd go bk there again now that I know where I'm going and it's very close to home. I also like that there are places to eat right next to the theater entrance. Rubios, DQ just to name a few. So if your hungry for something different that's not popcorn like I was, it's easy and convenient to get some hot food elsewhere after or even before the show. I'm not a fan of popcorn however my husband did get some and I have to say it's pretty delicious! We also had 2 cherry slushy type drinks and those were fantastic. It's been years since I had one of those! I was happy to see it being sold there. So food was very fresh. Not sure what else was on the menu but I'm sure it would be good. The, Rubios has a military discount if anyone has served like my husband has. Food was good there as well. Not all, Rubios give a military discount so it was very much appreciated. It didn't seem to be to hot or cold during the movie but I would bringa sweater or wear a long sleeve shirt if you get chilled easy just in case! I was getting pretty cool after that...
Read moreI am hesitant to share this review just because there are so few gems like this one in Las Vegas and I don't want it ruined. But, in the spirit of sharing with other families, here we go.
We discovered this theater about three years ago. Before that, we rarely went to the movies despite being huge cinema fans, because many theaters here at NOT family friendly. We enjoy the drive-in, but we were hoping to find an indoor place to enjoy movies in the colder weather.
I brought my three year old to a morning matinee of Ugly Dolls to see how it would go. We walked through a lot of "grown-up video games" to get there, my kiddo liked seeing everyone. The theater itself was quiet and had a small-town atmosphere. It was a great experience! The snacks were fresh, staff interacted kindly with my daughter, and the theater was very clean!
Since then, we've had several of our biggest cinematic firsts here. Frozen II was one, our child's first opening night movie. Our first time seeing a movie after the initial pandemic lockdown was also here, and it was much better than we expected.
Most recently we went to see Encanto and brought our baby for her first theater experience. She was in awe! In the mornings, there are very few patrons, which is a perfect time to teach little ones theater etiquette without bothering other moviegoers.
This most recent time, I asked for a veteran's discount since I read they honor them on the site. They do, but only after 4pm. However the staff helped me figure out how to apply a birthday discount I didn't realize I had! Also I was really excited to remember that ages 5 and under are free, so I only had to buy one ticket, which left extra money for snacks. 😊 Happy kids, happy wallet.
Definitely a favorite hangout for us, it's a good place to bring the family as long as they follow the rules and help keep the...
Read moreNot all seats recline. So I'm not sure why we pay top price for theaters that are outdated. Watched a 3 hour movie and it was getting very uncomfortable. I feel kind of spoiled now with many theaters that have reclining seats so it was very noticeable sitting in these old chairs. Not even well cushioned. Popcorn was stale at a busy time. This theater could really use a makeover. Update : 1 year later and matinee prices are still full price yet the theaters are still stuck in the 90s. Out of the hundreds of different movie theaters I've been to across the country, this is one of the worst. Ushers can't get anything right. Managers are no better. It was so frustrating trying to fix a problem with my 8 dollar drink that had zero flavor. And then the manager didn't even believe me. Even though another customer literally standing next to me, had the same problem. She asked me which fountain i got my drink from and then went ahead and tasted from a different one?? And looked at me and said, "seems OK to me." Is she trying to be funny because I wasn't laughing. I had already been waiting for 5 minutes because the people in line at both cashiers seemed to have all day and the 3 managers sitting at the podium towards the front all seemed too busy chatting together to help when I'm sure they saw me pacing back and forth and looking at them right in the eye with the drink in my hand. I had just ordered the drink and took one sip after exiting the line and noticed. But both lines already had customers. Owner replied like they represent regal. I can't believe regal allows their brand to be on this theater. It isn't just poorly run, it's old and dated with no matinee prices or any kind of discounts to put up with the many...
