Rivas Mexican Grill #3 — Restaurant in North Las Vegas

The food was good but the service sucks. I ordered my food off of grubhub pick up. Grubhub told me it would be done in 30 mins. I was already there so I just waited in my car. If the food is done before the suggested time by grubhub then the merchant is supposed to let you know by clicking food is ready on their screen. About 30 mins later and I still hadn't been alerted that my food was done so I go inside and tell the lady that I'm here for the nachos order from grubhub and to let me know when their done. I go and sit down and about 10 mins later she asks me what I'm here for again and I tell her the chicken nachos. She says "oh they've been ready about 20 mins ago". So I ask her why wasnt I alerted if they were done? "She says she doesn't know, it only takes 10 mins for them to make my order" she finally shows me the tablet that they use to get their orders from grubhub telling me there's no where for her to tell me the food is ready. So i politely point to the big blue button on the bottom of the screen that says "food is ready for pickup". And after all that she finally...

It's unfortunate to have to make this review but the coincidences are not sitting right with me. My husband and I have been coming to get their .99 tacos on some Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This Wednesday we put in an order for 14 tacos. Got home and were short 5 tacos. I called in to tell them what happened and that my husband was on the way to just pick up the remaining amount that were missing. He took his food to work and shared with his brother and I find it extremely odd that he and his brother both felt sick after eating the batch he picked up. They threw up, diarrhea, and stomach pain so symptoms of food poisoning. Never has this happened eating here but I find it suspicious that a corrected order just so happened to make them both sick. My kids and I ate the order given to us first I'm 36 weeks pregnant and it could of been us eating that second batch getting sick. There's not many Mexican food places around here in Aliante but I no longer feel comfortable...

Waited in line for 15 minutes just to be told by the girl at the counter they weren't taking any more orders for 20-30 minutes. We waited 30 then we were told we had to wait another 10.

Update: we gave this place a second try because it’s been over a year since we ate here before. I really don’t understand how this place has so many good reviews and how they are opening more locations. Maybe different locations are better than this one. The same girl still works here and that makes me think she’s related to the owner because she has no customer service skills at all. She got our order wrong and acts like you’re bothering her just by coming in. The food is nothing to write home about, It’s really bland and generic tasting. The prices are slightly higher than Roberto’s but the food is not as good. I think dell taco is more authentic than this place. Sucks because I love Mexican food and it’s the closest place...
