From the outside, it’s an unassuming spot, but once you step inside, the interior is surprisingly nice. Luckily, the food follows suit. What We Tried: • Chilaquiles Tricolor with Steak – The chilaquiles were some of the best we’ve had in Las Vegas - flavorful, well-balanced, and totally worth ordering. The steak, though? A bit tough. Probably best to skip it and just enjoy the chilaquiles on their own. • Chorizo Skillet – Hearty, warm, and packed with flavor. The chorizo really stood out in the best way. A great comfort dish. • California Burrito – Not the best we’ve ever had, but still pretty good. Interestingly, the steak in the burrito was more tender than the steak that came with the chilaquiles. Sweet Stuff: • Pancake Flight – A fun option to share at the table. Ranking the flavors: 1. Lechera – The clear winner. 2. Fresa con Crema – Solid second place. 3. Red Velvet – Way too sweet for our taste. Pro Tip: Skip the regular coffee and go for the Cafe de Olla. The spices were perfect, the sweetness was just right, and it had a depth and warmth that made it a standout drink. Final Verdict: 5/5 – We’d absolutely come back to explore more of the menu.

Today I had the pleasure of dining at Casa del Desayuno, and I must say, we truly had a wonderful time! The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the chilaquiles and the café de olla, and oh my goodness—it felt just like being back in my parents' hometown! I’m already craving the recipe of that cafe de olla! The menu offers a fantastic variety. My child enjoyed the kid-friendly mini pancakes, eggs, and bacon, which were also delightful. My husband tried the sopes and loved them. There’s something for everyone here! While parking can be a bit challenging, we eventually found a spot without too much hassle. I agree with previous reviews that the exterior of the restaurant may not stand out, but trust me, this is a hidden gem worth trying. A huge thank you to the bloggers on Instagram who led us here! Our waitress was incredibly polite, and my baby took a liking to her immediately. We were pleasantly surprised by the quick service; we were told to expect a 25-minute wait for food, but it arrived in just 15 minutes! I highly recommend Casa del Desayuno and can’t wait to return for another delicious meal⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tldr: I sent food back for hair in it and got food that smelled like chemicals and mold. I also asked my partner who I was with to try and they said the same thing and their eggs were not like that. The experience wasn't bad but the food came with a hair in it which I was willing to forgive because I get it stuff happens in the kitchen and I have worked food before. When I sent them back the eggs with the hair and the ones I got back had a very strong chemical and mold smell. The pancakes were good I'm just disappointed because I love supporting small business and I have been here before and the food was great! It's just really upsetting that because I sent something back for a legitimate reason like hair in my food I got something that was potentially tampered with. I have a picture of my pancake which I was excited about because I wanted to leave a good review and didn't want to dog on a business because of some hair but here we are I guess. My only request is please tell staff that is not ok. If anything I'm just sad.

I've been duped. Drove 20 mins to try this place due to all the good reviews and it's high rating. After eating here with six people I can't find one reason to justify their high rating. It's kind of like when you go into a small town and everyone raves about a restaurant so then you try it and it really isn't anything to brag about. You suddenly realize this is just the best available restaurant for people who live in this area and the only way for them to experience what it's like to eat at a real restaurant or diner is to travel to a more populated area. Only in this case I think the low prices that go with the low quality of this establishment keeps people in this area from exploring better options. A 4.4 rating in this area would definitely be below 3.0 in most other areas in las vegas. The service was terrible, the food took a long time which is not damning in my book because I understand they are busy ....BUT.... after the long wait they put all our food in front of us and then say they will get us our silverware. Do you know they came back to our table 3 times without also bringing the silverware. It took at least 5 minutes of everyone staring at the food in front of them before we could finally eat. We barely saw our waitress the entire meal and when she did finally pop up, she saw two empty cups next to each other and only refilled one. All of their dishes were cheap cracked and dirty, I couldn't believe they could be allowed to use these disgusting old worn out dishes. Finally the food barely seemed average. It definitely tasted like it was prepared in a dirty kitchen and not one person in our group could pick one thing that tasted good or even normal. We all regretted giving this place a try so if you don't live in this area dont waste a trip. You will only like this place if you have extremely low food expectations or no...

If you're looking for a breakfast that delivers both comfort and bold flavors, this spot truly nails it with its pancakes, chilaquiles, chorizo skillet, and cafe de olla. Here's a breakdown:

Pancakes: These are nothing short of amazing. Light, fluffy, and perfectly golden brown on the outside, with just the right amount of sweetness. Whether you enjoy them with syrup, butter, or a fruit topping, each bite feels like a warm hug. They’re thick, but not overwhelming, and have a melt-in-your-mouth quality that makes you want to savor every bite.

Chilaquiles: If you want something with a little more kick, the chilaquiles here are a must-try. The crispy tortillas are soaked just enough in a tangy red sauce that balances the heat and flavor. Topped with a sunny-side-up egg, crema, and crumbled queso fresco, it’s a dish that feels both indulgent and fresh. The sauce is rich but not overpowering, letting the crunchy chips shine through.

Chorizo Skillet: This dish is packed with bold, smoky flavor. The chorizo is perfectly spiced and juicy, complementing a hearty blend of eggs, peppers, and onions. Served in a sizzling skillet, the whole combination is an irresistible mix of textures and flavors—crisp on the edges, tender in the middle. It’s savory, filling, and a great way to fuel up for the day.

Cafe de Olla: If you're a coffee lover, the cafe de olla here is a treat. Brewed with cinnamon, cloves, and piloncillo (unrefined cane sugar), it’s a warm, aromatic, and slightly sweet coffee that pairs perfectly with any of the dishes. The spice and sweetness provide a unique depth that sets it apart from your typical morning brew.

Overall, the combination of these dishes makes for a standout breakfast experience—each one deliciously satisfying in its own right, and together, they offer a balance of flavors that’ll keep you coming...

Casa El Desayuno left me thoroughly impressed with both its delectable food and exceptional service. The moment I tasted their meat platter, I knew I was in for a treat. The platter featured an assortment of breakfast meats cooked to perfection, and let's not forget the marzipan pancakes! These fluffy pancakes were a sweet sensation, topped with a generous serving of marzipan and a drizzle of maple syrup. The combination of textures and flavors was sheer bliss.

Not only was the food at Casa El Desayuno exceptional, but the staff also provided a warm and friendly atmosphere that made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Our server, Silvia, deserves special mention for her impeccable service. Silvia greeted us with a genuine smile and promptly. Her attentive and accommodating nature made us feel like valued guests, and she ensured that all our needs were met with efficiency and care. Silvia's excellent service truly added to the overall experience, making our visit to Casa El Desayuno truly memorable.

In summary, Casa El Desayuno exceeded my expectations in both the culinary department and customer service. The meat platter and marzipan pancakes were exceptional, offering a delightful combination of flavors and textures. The friendly and attentive staff, particularly Silvia, elevated our dining experience to new heights. Whether you're craving savory meats or indulgent sweet treats, Casa El Desayuno is a must-visit destination that promises an unforgettable breakfast or...
