I've been duped. Drove 20 mins to try this place due to all the good reviews and it's high rating. After eating here with six people I can't find one reason to justify their high rating. It's kind of like when you go into a small town and everyone raves about a restaurant so then you try it and it really isn't anything to brag about. You suddenly realize this is just the best available restaurant for people who live in this area and the only way for them to experience what it's like to eat at a real restaurant or diner is to travel to a more populated area. Only in this case I think the low prices that go with the low quality of this establishment keeps people in this area from exploring better options. A 4.4 rating in this area would definitely be below 3.0 in most other areas in las vegas. The service was terrible, the food took a long time which is not damning in my book because I understand they are busy ....BUT.... after the long wait they put all our food in front of us and then say they will get us our silverware. Do you know they came back to our table 3 times without also bringing the silverware. It took at least 5 minutes of everyone staring at the food in front of them before we could finally eat. We barely saw our waitress the entire meal and when she did finally pop up, she saw two empty cups next to each other and only refilled one. All of their dishes were cheap cracked and dirty, I couldn't believe they could be allowed to use these disgusting old worn out dishes. Finally the food barely seemed average. It definitely tasted like it was prepared in a dirty kitchen and not one person in our group could pick one thing that tasted good or even normal. We all regretted giving this place a try so if you don't live in this area dont waste a trip. You will only like this place if you have extremely low food expectations or no...
Read moreIf you're looking for a breakfast that delivers both comfort and bold flavors, this spot truly nails it with its pancakes, chilaquiles, chorizo skillet, and cafe de olla. Here's a breakdown:
Pancakes: These are nothing short of amazing. Light, fluffy, and perfectly golden brown on the outside, with just the right amount of sweetness. Whether you enjoy them with syrup, butter, or a fruit topping, each bite feels like a warm hug. They’re thick, but not overwhelming, and have a melt-in-your-mouth quality that makes you want to savor every bite.
Chilaquiles: If you want something with a little more kick, the chilaquiles here are a must-try. The crispy tortillas are soaked just enough in a tangy red sauce that balances the heat and flavor. Topped with a sunny-side-up egg, crema, and crumbled queso fresco, it’s a dish that feels both indulgent and fresh. The sauce is rich but not overpowering, letting the crunchy chips shine through.
Chorizo Skillet: This dish is packed with bold, smoky flavor. The chorizo is perfectly spiced and juicy, complementing a hearty blend of eggs, peppers, and onions. Served in a sizzling skillet, the whole combination is an irresistible mix of textures and flavors—crisp on the edges, tender in the middle. It’s savory, filling, and a great way to fuel up for the day.
Cafe de Olla: If you're a coffee lover, the cafe de olla here is a treat. Brewed with cinnamon, cloves, and piloncillo (unrefined cane sugar), it’s a warm, aromatic, and slightly sweet coffee that pairs perfectly with any of the dishes. The spice and sweetness provide a unique depth that sets it apart from your typical morning brew.
Overall, the combination of these dishes makes for a standout breakfast experience—each one deliciously satisfying in its own right, and together, they offer a balance of flavors that’ll keep you coming...
