Los Portales Bakery — Restaurant in North Las Vegas

The food is good but the customer service is so horrible. Everytime I go there, the employees seem like they don't want to work there. They always look at me with a negative face as if I did something wrong by ordering food. Just now I called to place an order for food and they told me that I could not order anything because people always call and never show up. Understandable however what got to me is that I told them I work super close and only have 30 min lunch I gave them the office number where I work so they can confirm I placed an order. They told me if I dnt mind I can order but if the food is cold to not complain.?? seriously these people need to step up their customer service if they want to improve...

12/31/2020 I knew they closed at 5pm I rushed over and got there at 4:52pm only to find that the door was already locked . Lady inside tells me it’s closed , then another lady comes out to close the gate and Asked if they were suppose to close at 4:50 or 5 and she gives me Attitude and tells me that I got there at 4:55 and it’s too late . I would like to report this to the owner , This is not right and not good for business. I work at a shipping/mail office and this would never be accepted by our owner . If someone shows up 5mins before we close we are responsible for helping that customer and maintaining open until the time stated on the door...

This place was recommended to be by a coworker, as I tried one of their cakes and it was really good. I decided to use them for my baby shower cakes. Their cakes are good but their customer service is absolutely horrible! They messed up on my order and when I called the lady said there was nothing they could do, that the lady that took my order wasn't there, and then she tried blaming me saying that I should have looked at the note. I will not be going back there nor recommend this place to anyone....
