Chai Tip's Thai & Chinese — Restaurant in North Las Vegas

This is mostly a take out place. You can eat here, but it won't feel very homey or accomodating because it is a very small place and the door opens frequently with customers or take out delivery.

I gave it a 4 star because the staff is incredibly friendly, and their food is palable and prices are reasonable for this area. However, it's cash only up until $15 and when I called on 2 different ocassions, they picked up the phone but no one answered and I was left on the phone talking to no one but the background sound of their kitchen...so take it or leave it, its the closest thai/chinese resaurant on Craig and MLK. If you call later in the evening, somewhere around 7pm, they run out of ingrediants such as tofu, just in case you really like...

I decided to order delivery from here and regret every second and penny I wasted! First, the person taking the order barely spoke English, so not only got my order wrong, but couldn't even get my address right. 1 1/2 hours after placing my order, they finally showed up, with me guiding them via cell phone to my address that was only 10 minutes away. The food was no longer warm, it wasn't what I ordered, the vegetable chow mein was actually regular spaghetti noodles, with 3 vegetables, and the pot-stickers tasted like they were stuffed with dog food. I've had better food from Panda Express for better price. At least my dogs will be enjoying...

Unsung Treasure of North Las Vegas. Some of the most Authentic Thai you’ll find. The Tom Kha Soup here puts all others to shame. Try it with fried tofu! The balance of smoky salty sweet sour spicy and bitter exemplifies Thai cooking philosophy perfectly. Stick to the Thai rather than Chinese dishes. The two Thai women who operate the restaurant are Hospitable and kind. They will occasionally offer you a side of rice or banana egg rolls for FREE while dining in. They are sweet and generous.
