DISGUSTING, DIRTY,GROSS, WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE BACK? If the store isn't cleaned...I'll be reaching out to the health district. How:Drive thru Order: 3 items Number of employees:5 Number of customers: 1 (me in the drive thru 1 male eating in the lobby) *The young girl taking my order forgot to mute her microphone after the order and all I hear is laughing I pulled up and paid, she asked me to pull up to the front and wait ( I've never been asked to pull up but ok) I was the only customer *Waited so long I ended up walked inside and 5 employees are in the back talking in a small circle...ok....so....why am I waiting so long...? *While waiting for my 3 items I noticed how disgusting the store is...so 5 employees and NO ONE is watching the chicken or cleaning the lobby? I get the need to pay low wages and charge high prices for food...but what is the culture at PL? no one takes pride in their job? Let an unfriendly employee that can barely conceal his contempt for you make snide comments while he/she "assists" you with your order. Also, don't expect employees to double check that your order is correct, give you a drink cup if you ordered a drink, or ask you if you'd like salsa or anything else. After waiting for 10 minutes or so in a nearly empty restaurant, your order will be quickly dropped on the counter, a number mumbled as you watch the employee disappear into the back while you try to get their attention to ask for some salsa. Getting salsa takes an additional 3 minutes while the employee whose attention you finally did managed to get sets off to find someone that speaks english and is qualified to drop a few salsa containers into your bag. Its the same story again and again. Business owners brainwashing the newest group of consumers into thinking that they should feel lucky that they even got what they ordered and paid for. Read moreThe have the self help kiosk to place your order which is what everyone is switching over to but the sensitivity on there sucked. You had to nearly hit instead of press the screen so it could read it. Ordered a "carnitas quesadilla" they called up 5 mins after to just tell me they didn't have that anymore they only had beef. So I accepted the option but waited another 5 plus minutes to receive it. The food was good. No complaint on the food. It was hot fresh and very tasty. I must have seen at least 5 different employees so I doubt they were understaffed. The place is super new only a few months opened but won't stay looking new for a long time.
