Mmm, mmm, yummy! 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋 Where do I start? Arrival... The parking lot was full but with a little patience I got a spot right at the door. We added our names to the waitlist, had a seat and munched on peanuts. Before long (they gave us an eta of 35-40 minutes but it was only 23 minutes) we were seated with menus in hand. Our waitress Allie was a DREAM, a real charmer. Managers also walk around checking on guests. Allie took our order in no time. The young man that seated us grabbed a basket of hot bread and butter so it was on the table the moment we sat down. I'm suffering from sensory overload after dining there. I'm serious. While we were eating, the music went up and the staff started dancing in unison. Too funny. Some of them were having so much fun I wanted to join them. I felt like a kid in a high school dance. I actually got excited by the music and dancing. They were adorable! Okay, back to the food. They have a special $9.99 menu with a lot of delicious choices available before 6pm. Check the back of your menu. I had the Road Kill (chopped steak covered in sauteed onions and yummy sauteed mushrooms), baked potato with butter and sour cream and a house salad. By the time I duck waddled out with my leftovers I was ready for a nap. Download the app for takeout and "Call Ahead Service" to shorten your wait. This is HIGHLY recommended. This restaurant is going to be rocking 7 days a week for a long time to come. Veterans, don't forget to let them know who you are! Enjoy! UPDATE This place is a headline waiting to happen. IT'S A DEATH TRAP! I WILL NOT BE RETURNING!
What do I mean? Why not?
I went in last Friday evening and was HORRIFIED by what I saw! The waiting area was so jam packed I was surprised they could breathe. There's only ONE WAY OUT of that area and the exit is jam packed! This place is screaming, "PLEASE SUE ME after you trip over someone's feet, walker, cane, carseat with baby in it, someone's kid, etc. PLEASE SUE ME after tempers flare up this summer from stressed our customers fighting and hitting you with something. PLEASE SUE ME when you pass out from being stuck in cramped closet full of people who can't SAFELY exit the area in an emergency!"
Who in HELL thought up that floor plan and why can't customers pick up takeout from an OUTSIDE takeout area?!
Guess I'll be returning to OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE where I feel a lot safer. UPDATE Okay, so my co-workers wanted to go here for a Girls Night Out. If you've read the previous review, you'll see that I wanted no parts of this. After much prodding and poking, I agreed to join them. I'M SO GLAD I DID! The food was as delicious as ever and the service was top notch! My only complaint is the rowdy, EXTREMELY LOUD, party of 8+ that sat 4 tables behind us. The staff was very accommodating to them as they should've been but it made for a source of irritation for our group. Other than that,...
Read moreThis letter details a deeply concerning dining experience I had at the Texas Roadhouse restaurant located at 1380 E Craig Rd in North Las Vegas, Nevada on December 9, 2023 at approximately 2 pm. Upon being seated after a forty minute wait, we were presented with appetizer plates that were visibly dirty with dried food remnants and smudges. We politely requested clean plates which were eventually brought to us. The server brought our beverages, and a bug was discovered floating in one of our drinks. This was absolutely unacceptable and raised serious concerns about the restaurant's hygiene standards.
We immediately requested to speak to the general manager to express our concerns. Despite initially promising to return with a solution, she never reappeared. In her absence, a male individual approached our table. He didn't care to introduce himself. Instead, I had to interrogate him. He introduced himself as a Managing Partner without stating his name and displayed a complete lack of interest and professionalism. His demeanor was dismissive and condescending throughout the conversation. He pretended to listen to our complaints while other customers were present but did nothing to address the situation. Instead of offering any form of resolution or apology, he handed us a business card displaying the name Samuel Vela. He rudely escorted us out of the restaurant without acknowledging our concerns.
It is important to note that this is not an isolated incident. On December 8, 2023, my party and I experienced a similar issue at a different Texas Roadhouse located at 3531 St Rose Pkwy in Henderson, NV. My sister found hair in their salad. This repeated occurrence highlights a systemic problem within the chain regarding hygiene and customer service. Amber, the manager on duty, at the St Rose location was extremely apologetic and offered a meal voucher.
I urge the Health Department to investigate this matter thoroughly. The unsanitary conditions and unprofessional behavior of the management at the Texas Roadhouse restaurant on December 9th constitute a severe violation of public health codes and ethical standards.
I demand the following actions:
A thorough inspection of the restaurant to ensure compliance with hygiene regulations. Appropriate disciplinary action against the General Manager and Managing Partner for their negligence and misconduct. A formal apology from Texas Roadhouse management for the unacceptable experience. Assurance of concrete steps being taken to address hygiene concerns and improve customer service across all Texas Roadhouse locations. I am confident that the Health Department will take necessary measures to protect the public from further exposure to such unacceptable conditions and ensure that restaurants like Texas Roadhouse uphold the highest standards of hygiene...
Read moreI had the most embarrassing experience today at #texasroadhouse where I took my mom who is 74 soon to be 75 and her friend who is 77 who happens to be black. We ordered our food and I did receive my salad. The restaurant was extra freezing 🥶 really cold and I asked the waiter if they would consider lowering the ac she said no they only had one ac system and it was for the kitchen. I thought was strange only one ac for the entire restaurant so another lady walked by and she looked like she might been a manager so I asked she could come back by she did. I asked her about the ac and she explained they had a separate ac for the restaurant she said she would look into it. Meanwhile she had a nice black Texas road house zip up hoodie and my moms friend who’s 77 asked if they sell them in the restaurant she touched her sleeve barely though and was inquiring if she could buy one and me I said you must be cold too and she said no she said I had to wear it because my arms have bruises and I said ok and she left. A few minutes passes and guy approached the table and I thought he was just checking on us for the ac but that’s not what happened his first thing that came out of his mouth was we assaulted his employee by touching her and they don’t allow it and when I spoke up and as they were trying to as well I said that’s not what happened and that’s extremely rude to say that when she only touched her sweater complementing it and asked they sold them because she was freezing. Because I said that he said get up and get the hell out of his restaurant and don’t ever come up and because we were slow getting up my mom is 74 she’s blind and old and the other lady 77 she has cane in there with us and I’m on the other side he then says if I don’t hurry and get up he will toss me outside. I did take his picture and I did go off on him and told him I was going to call corporate and when my mom asked nicely for corporate’s number he said Google it. I have never been kicked out of a restaurant and nor have my mom and this was extremely embarrassing he did this front of entire restaurant and and walked us all the way out the door as we hobbled our way to the door being that I struggle with walking and mom is old and blind and the other lady is using a cane. Good news is we went to #chillis and my moms friend broke down in tears and the manager heard what happened and was nice he told another manager she came by and was so apologetic and told us the food was on them. Which made their day. I am at lost for words for this manager/employee at Texas roadhouse I wish I knew who to...
