From the time their sign went up on the building, we have been waiting for First Watch - Craig Road to open its doors for business! Today, we got to attend their pre-opening Friends and Family Event that we RSVP thru their First Watch Sun eClub. Those RSVP were made available Wednesday and was gone in mere minutes for both dates: Dates: Saturday, September 13th or Sunday, September 14th.
The building catches your eye when driving by and is a nice complement to their neighbors along Craig Road Restaurant Row. Entering the restaurant, it was bright, tables easily spread out and not crowded in. The staff greeted us warmly and we were seated promptly for our party of 4. Michelle explained the menu to us and her recommendations were spot on. Thank you for that especially it being our first time.
We spoke with the general manager, Richi, and the general manager for their next location in Henderson. They were very friendly and had great conversations with them.
Food: oh my goodness! Flavors were spot on. Coffee was delicious. The breakdown: Honey Caramel Crunch Iced Coffee Salted caramel and honey topped with a sweet cream cold foam and toffee nut crumbles.

I also have to say that their Project Sunrise coffee is sublimely delicious! I would go in just for the coffee!

I had such a fantastic time here today that I can’t stop thinking about the food. The service was absolutely spot on—friendly, quick, and really made us feel taken care of from start to finish. It’s been long overdue to have a place like this on this side of town, and it honestly exceeded my expectations.
The food was the real highlight. Anything with barbacoa was incredible—tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. I also tried the purple haze, which was surprisingly refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. For my main dish, I went with the eggs benedict with smoked salmon, and it was everything I could’ve hoped for: rich, silky, and cooked just right. Each plate felt carefully made rather than thrown together, which is a huge plus.
It’s rare to find a restaurant that balances both great service and great food, but this one really does. If you’re anywhere near the area, I’d highly recommend giving it a try. Finally, North Las Vegas has a spot that’s worth bragging about.

Read moreWas able to visit during a pre opening event. Super glad we did. Kalani was our server and was very informative and answered all our questions as this was a new place for us. She had good knowledge of the menu. The food was tasty. I had the TRI-fecta which was pretty standard breakfast fare. Eggs, sausage and a crispy waffle. Had the cheesy grits on the side. So good! Not runny. Not too thick. Brewed iced tea was nice and strong. The only thing I’d complain about would be that they only had real sugar and stevia for my tea! 😆 My friend had the avocado toast, which was a lot and I tried her million dollar potatoes. They were pretty darned tasty! The million dollar bacon on them was great. It’s got maple syrup and pepper on it. Yum! Definitely going to make trip over to try some lunch...
