Since I had a $2.00 off coupon, I today decided to stop by this submarine fast food restaurant located in a shopping plaza at the corner of Simmons and Ann Road. Service was slow not due to the fault of the hardworking employees, but simply because they had more customers than they could handle at around 1:00 p.m. on 02/22/2019. Perhaps they need more staff on hand? The overall size of this Jersey Mike's location also struck me as being a bit on the small side - more floorspace overall might be a good idea. The item that I purchased was a giant Big Kahuna cheesesteak sub (approx. a 15-inch sub) to go. You can check their online menu for all pertinent details on the ingredients, pricing, etc. While the submarine itself was very good and extremely flavorful due to the proper combination of steak, cheese and various other goodies including mushrooms, onions and more, I did feel that it was a bit expensive for what was being offered - overpriced as in New Jersey prices. At a total of $14.18 (coupon, sales tax and 10% tip included) for just one sandwich - no sides, I have to consider that I can buy a large pizza with the works at Papa John's for less money, in the $10.00 - $12.00 range depending on the ongoing promo. Also, you can get two complete chicken tender sandwich meals at PDQ with fries and beverage included for only about $9.00 if you have a two-for-one coupon which is regularly available. I also didn't have the impression that there was anything unique about Jersey Mike's that distinguished it in a meaningful way from the competition: Capriotti's, Port of Subs, Subway and Firehouse Subs. Its competitors are possibly also less expensive, but I would have to research the overall pricing first to be able to confirm this. This was also the first fast food establishment that I have encountered at which an optional tip screen popped up during credit card payment. Theoretically, it's optional but practically speaking not really: tipping starts at 10%. While I enjoyed my tasty cheesesteak sub, I do not see myself returning to Jersey Mike's in the near future. Better options are available elsewhere. I would specifically recommend Capriotti's (in Las Vegas since 1976). They will sell you a 20-inch inch sub for the same price as a Jersey Mike's not so giant 15-inch sub. That's 33% more bang for your buck!

The guys there were ABSOLUTELY SLAMMED when I went there at 11:20am on a Thursday. They tried their hardest to get as many sandwiches out ASAP and handled the stress quite well. First time I've been to a Jersey Mike's....Nothing remarkable about food....it was OK....less add-ons available than Subway and the bread can't be ordered toasted. The "freshly sliced" marketing promotion slows down production. I understand that's their big claim, and I'm from Long Island, NY so I know all about "mom n pop" delis and "freshness" but if don't have enough workers cutting meat, cheese, etc and you're backing up production by 30 minutes....as in my circumstance, then you need to either hire more people or find a solution to expedite a faster delivery...such as cutting up 10 sandwiches worth of meat, etc and covering them up while in a safe food container properly refrigeratored. Like I wrote...the sandwich was ok...nothing remarkable, the service was slow (30 min) and the shop is small with not many tables.

Went this evening to pick up dinner! I was greeted by all 3 employees! I could not decide on what I wanted to order. So, Josiah helped me with the menu. While waiting, I noticed that the restaurant was very clean and organized! All 3 employees worked well together to maintain and keep up with the orders! But Josiah went above and beyond! I forgot my eye glasses at home and I couldn't read the menu. Thanks for being so kind and helpful! I got the 3 pack of chocolate chip cookies, philly cheesesteak & a club! Everything was delicious! 😋 Thanks for the great service and good food!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The two girls working at the Simmons location in North Las Vegas last night were terrible customer service representatives. They did not greet me, just straight out asked "What do you want?" "Everything on it?" "White or wheat?" AFTER I stood at the counter for five minutes, and obviously they knew I was there because they looked at me multiple times. Then after giving them my order for ONE Big Kahuna I stood at the register for another five minutes with my card ready before she took my payment, at which time I was already angry about my visit and chose the option for no tip. I stood there waiting for my payment to go through, and according to her the card reader didn't "like my card" and she needed to enter it manually. I handed her my card and she processed the payment and handed me ONE receipt. I went outside to my car to wait and she waved me in and said I was all set, so I reached out to take the sandwich she was holding and she pulled it away and pointed to the register and said "That one is yours.". So I picked up my sandwich and walked out, neither of them saying a word to me as I left. When I got home the sandwich was pretty much all bread and cheese, very little meat or peppers. I have checked my bank account since then and I was charged twice. Needless to say it will be a very long time before I pay Jersey Mike's a visit at all, and will most likely never come to this location again even though it is the closest to my house. I am very...

Usually I love coming here. It's one of our favorite restaurants as a family, however the service more recently has been lacking. Tonight took the cake. I really wish I had gotten the employees names, but unfortunately I was so pissed I had to walk out. Two boys and a young lady were working tonight. The young lady was NOT the problem and in fact called the boys out for their terrible attitudes. The boy "helping" us mumbled and we could barely understand him, and while I understand quick service, rushing people isn't the way. While checking out, same mumbly communication, rude as heck, adding things to my ticket that I hadny even asked for yet and made me feel like I was an inconvenience for bothering him at work. My daughters were still in the store after I left and they decided to speak about me right in front of them, including calling me out of my name. When my daughter went back in to retrieve a receipt for me she heard the young lady telling the boys they were out of line. Normally this location is great, but my 5 star just turned into a 2 star because...
