I gave 3 stars because normally this McDonald’s is on it; however, on this day I’m writing this review, it was very unpleasant. I was being rushed to order in the drive thru (only 3 hot and spicies and one fruit punch), and I know there was a decently long line, but if people weren’t willing to wait a bit they wouldn’t be in the drive thru. I pay for my food and head on to the second window. The lady gives me my food (only the sandwiches and no drink) and tells me to have a nice day. I reminded her I ordered a fruit punch. She checks the ticket and tells me I was only charged for the sandwiches (I assume because of me being rushed to order they didn’t put down the last part which was the drink). No biggie, so then I ask her to charge me for a fruit punch, and I can tell she is irritated. I tried my best to be understanding and kind. She hands me back my card and passive aggressively comments, “next time, we can’t charge you for anything at the second window.” Shocked, I respond, “well then maybe next time they should get my order right the first time.” She didn’t respond and sent me on my way without any words, not even a “have a nice day.” First, I know they’re able to charge or add things to orders at the second window, I’ve gone to that mcds primarily since 2009 and it’s always been that way. Second, I work in customer service as well, and you NEVER make the customer feel like they’re wrong. And you certainly don’t take up an attitude with them if they provide one little inconvenience that could have been avoided had the job been done right in the first place. I understand everyone may have they’re struggles, and she may have her own, but that’s why it’s important to not bring those struggles into work with you and reflect them onto customers. I remind whoever is in charge to remind your employees to stay vigilant in providing good customer service always and give customers time and do your jobs based on the customers’ needs rather than your own. I hope she...
Read moreI would give this location zero stars if I could. We moved to North Las Vegas last spring and have tried to bring home food from this location 4 times. Each time we had problems with our order and was not able to get anything resolved after speaking with the restaurant.
Trip #1 Drive through of a lot of breakfast sandwiches and they did not include all of the sandwiches. Had to go back and no apology from store.
Trip #2 Drive through took 50 minutes because they didn’t have enough employees and could not manage to use the speaker in the line. We ordered a shamrock shake as the handwritten sign said was available. The gal at the window took the order and then when food was given, there was no shake. We asked and they said no shamrock was available. There was no offer to refund and we had to ask for them to make a different type of shake. We would have left the drive through but we would have had to drive over a curb.
Trip #3 ordered inside. Waited for the register and had one person order before us. Was then told the register was closed and to use the machine. We wanted several two for a special price and there was not an option for that. Had to get help from employee. They did not know how to help. When we got home we we’re missing food and had to go back. Again no apologies.
I contacted the customer service from the phone number on the receipt. No one to talk to and no call back. I emailed and received a generic thank you response.
Trip #4 order through the app and pick up outside the store. Ordered two special sandwiches that came with 3 slices of bacon. Each one came with no bacon. Why have a special with bacon?
I will not go to this location again which will require me to drive further from my home and possibly having cold fries at home. Very disappointing of a chain. Yes I know they are franchises but you would think the owners would care more. Each time we spent over $45...
Read moreAt 10:15 PM September 9 Friday, I came through the drive-through, I waited in line for 25 minutes just to place the order. I place my order requesting a strawberry shake. I was told that the shake machine had been cut off. Without being argumentative I stated that I have been in line for 25 minutes and they should at least have a sign out there stating that fact before you enter the drive-through line. The McDonald’s employee sarcastically answered “I’m gonna make a sign a especially for you“ how disrespectful to answer like that. I think it was a good suggestion considering that I did wait in line almost a half an hour to be told that the shake machine had been cut off. This is not the first time I’ve had an issue with this McDonald’s, last time the franchise owner came in with his kids, they didn’t even wash their hands but they were cooking their own hamburgers on the grill handling the utensils and the food. The kids look like they were around seven and eight years old. The franchise owner of that McDonald’s has just lost a customer, but I’m sure it won’t make a Difference, because of his location at Aun Road and Simmons, there’s a Lotta traffic coming into McDonald’s. But I won’t be going in there. And I will be telling other people exactly what I saw and how I was spoke to. I went through the drive-through and waited just short of a half an hour and got nothing! Well I did go back eventually after all this time, this time, which I can’t believe it, they Handed me my drink, and tried to hand me my food without putting it in a bag. And then laughed about it.! I’m really done this time! ...
