I use to come here almost every weekend and the food and service was the best. The service slowly started going down but I kept coming because the food was my favorite. The last time I went I found a hair in the salsa, when I told the server she just took it and came back with another one. No apology or acknowledgment or even asking if I did want another salsa. I did not eat the salsa anymore. Then I found a small hair in the ceviche plate. It was a small hair and knowing they didn’t really care, I just pushed that plate aside. They brought me a plate with cream for my coffee and that also had a small hair. Three hairs in one visit, this time I did mention it to her again. She said she would tell the cooks and it was probably their fault. A few minutes later who I assume was one of the cooks came out to bring a plate to a different table and she did look fully covered up so I don’t see how it could possibly be her hair. At this point we were all not having a good time at Tony’s anymore, we went to pay, the server who is one of the regular persons who usually serves me then charged me. I noticed the total was lower than it usually was and I assumed it was them saying sorry for the awful service, but no Once I was done paying she called me back and said she messed up and charged me for a different table and I still had to pay my actual bill and the first bill I paid would be back in my account soon So not only did I have awful service, food with hair, I also had to pay two bills that day. I didn’t want to write a review because this has been my go to restaurant for years, but every weekend since then I think of places to eat and the memory of this visit comes back and I get so upset again at the loss of my...
Read moreSo we just came out here from California and this place was recommended for it food. The waitress Katrina who took my order was very much and respectful. I ordered the asada fries and 2 tostadas spent 25 and made sure leave a tip. And the food was fine, but the person I was with ordered and the waitress Dulce had a problem and was cut us off as when we asked about are food after they said it would be 15mins.We waited about 20 mins and asked if it was ready, it wasn't so we kept waiting 5-10 later they gave us our food. When we got home my friends order was wrong went we called and spoke with Dulce she explained she needed to talk to her manager. We called back the next day over 24 hour later. And again spoke to Dulce, and she was very rude her words were " I TOLD YOU ID CALL YOU WHEN I SPOKE WITH MY MANAGER, I'LL TALL TO HIM, RIGHT NOW, AND I'LL CALL YOU BACK IN 15 MINS." We were under the impression she'd already talked to him like she said the first time, and didn't explain her angry irritable attitude. We immediately went up there to speak with the manager, he was on the phone and barely spoke with us we gave them back their food and they checked to make sure it was THEIR MISTAKE. And gave us the cost of our food. And my friend said she didn't want the tip just the cost of the food we gave back. Dulce was there didn't apologize and tried to play it off like she wasn't being rude when her manager was there. And gave the excuse "we were busy" .... so CLEARLY she lost her professionalize. Will never go there again or...
Read moreWe ordered fish tacos, rice and beans, and enchiladas. The fish tacos didn't specify if it was fried or not and although I was hoping for fried and it hasn't, they were really delicious. Gracious toppings, good portion of the fish, and the sauce that goes on them was amazing. The enchilada were good as well.
We had a delivery issue and had to get our drinks reordered. As a dasher and someone who works in a restaurant that gets many dashes, I understand mix ups happen and imo it's the duty of the driver who is getting tipped to double check as they can see there are drinks in the order. Regardless Tony's sent a hand written note apologizing and an extra drink. The drink is appreciated but the hand written note is what pushed me to write this review. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back to try different items (or maybe I'll stick with the amazing fish tacos). Maybe for pick up next time, that way things don't get lost through the...
