This review is long overdue. The first time I dined here me and my daughter was togethr. She ordered a burger which was sent back three times due to the burger being undercooked. The staff was apologetic and gave her a free dessert but by the time her burger was made correctly she was no longer hungry and ready to leave. Now I took into consideration that they just opened and give them another chance. I recieved a promotion at work all my family came down and we came here to celebrate. Service was extremely slow, we ordered our food and an hour past by and we are still waiting on salad. We also ordered appetizers that came out with our entree. My parents were highly upset and didn't understand what was going on. I spoke with the waitress and she kept ensuring me that the food was on the way. By the time we recieved our food it was another half hour wait.
The third time I came here I was invited by a friend I ordered the pepperoni extreme flatbread pizza, although the pizza was really good it sucked to eat parchment paper with almost every bite. I asked for the manager this time and was intriduced to Brandy or Brandi. She came to our booth and asked what was wrong and stated that's no good and she'll take care of it. She took the pizza off the ticket.
The fourth time I came here our waiter had no customer skills whatsoever. He took our drink order and had a bad attitude. Don't know if he was having a bad day or not but if was poor service. I ordered a peach tea and it was unsweetened. I asked him if I could just get a lemonade instead, he took the tea with an attitude. We ordered our food, there was three of us. Two of us recieved our food. My third friend food was taken back due to poor plating. There were sauces spilling over all her food and the food was overcrowded on her plate. It was a mess. She was still waiting, the waiter told us that it would be coming out in about 2 minutes. I am almost done with my food at this time and she still have not recieved her food. The waiter came back and stated that they had to thaw out another fish and since its been over an hour her meal is on the house, now at this time her food still is not ready or being cooked, we were finished eating at this time. The waiter came with the check and I paid. The waiter failed to take off the ordered we never recieved that was supposed to be on the house, the peach tea was still on there, plus other items we didn't even order. I asked to speak to the manager and Brandi (y) was who spoke with. I told her about the bill and she asked for the reciept. I went back to my table and grabbed the reciept and handed it over, she told me that she would have to double charge me for the night but I will get a refund for the first charge in 3-5 business days. I asked her if there was going to be any comps due to the waiters incompotence. She said "I apologize". So I was charged 100.00 for the night there was no comp and the waiter came back with the final bill with no apology. I did not leave a tip and have no intentions on going back. I'll drive to the other BJ's in...
Read moreWhile traveling through Little Rock late Sunday night there aren’t many dinner options. I decided on BJ’s as back home in McAllen, Texas BJ’s never disappoints my wife and I walk in to BJ’s North Little Rock there are maybe two tables in entire restaurant and 1 guy sitting at bar. We walk and sit at bar it’s around 8:30pm, 1 female (Megan B.) bartender alone behind bar we order drinks and food a short time later I ordered chicken Alfredo with Parmesan crusted chicken instead of grilled chicken as I have done many times back home bartender says yes no problem I ask her to add mushrooms also to Alfredo. My wife orders sliders and sweet potato fries. We wait for our food and it takes a really long time over 20 mins maybe 30 mins we keep looking at her as she has started cleaning up and picking up bar mats closing up bar it’s just after 9pm never checks on our food during this time. We ask her to check on our food after waiting so long she goes and checks on it and brings out food the buns on the sliders is rock hard from sitting under the heat lamp too long. My Alfredo is missing mushrooms and the chicken strips instead of the Parmesan crusted chicken. I told her it’s wrong and that it’s missing mushrooms the chickens stripes were hard and tough from sitting under heat lamp. Her reply to me was oh we don’t charge for mushrooms and didn’t offer to bring them or fix the pasta just keeps on cleaning and closing the bar. I ask her the Alfredo comes with a roll right? She says oh yes it’s because the kitchen is a mess we had a big table earlier. She goes to the kitchen comes back and says they’re working on the roll and begins cleaning again. 10 mins later she says let me go check on ur roll she returns with my roll on a plate also hard from sitting under heat lamp. This was the worst service and meal I’ve ever received from BJ’s Brewhouse seems like bartender was ready to go home or didn’t want to be at work on Sunday they close at 11pm it wasn’t even 10pm. I hope this problem can be resolved and that they can address the issues so this doesn’t happen to other customers at this location. This makes me never want to return to Arkansas...
Read moreFirst off I've never wanted to go to this place, I only went because my chic wanted to go. I will say that everything on the menu looked amazing! However, thats just half of the one star and the other being the Raspberry Lemonade!
We were promptly greeted and seated and introduced to our servers whom took our drink orders. I settled for the lemonade because they only serve Pepsi products. Nothing against Pepsi but Coke is the only cola for me! (Red Flag but it's my preference)
After looking at the amazing menu, I indecisively choose the bone-in wings as an appetizer but they were all out of wings. Ok. Strange but cool no problem. I'll take a burger with.. "Sir, we're out of wings, burgers and mashed potatoes". I was ready to leave at no Coke products as is but my girl chose this place.
I settled on the double bone-in pork chop, green beans and a mozzarella and tomato salad with steamed broccoli. My girl had the shrimp scampi. As we waited for our dinner to arrive I noticed the host wiping one of the tables down for another couple to be seated. As he wiped the table with the towel he simultaneously wiped it with his hair also. (Red Flag but my girl chose this place)
My salad arrived but I couldn't eat it for another five minutes because I didn't have any silverware even though there was a host that seated us, a pair of servers who took our orders and brought out our drinks and a food runner that brought the salad. We got our utensils moments before the main course.
My pork chop was warm at best, undercooked, lacked any seasoning and the green beans were waxy and chewy. I won't mention the broccoli that comes as an accompaniment with the meal! Although the pasta with the shrimp scampi was delicious, the shrimp had the tails attached and there were shells from the tails in the pasta.
The whole time we were there I never smelled any food cooking! Guess they must have an excellent ventilation system. They took the food items off the bill but I will say the lemonade and salad was good as well as the pasta, minus the tails. On the plus side I did find a crisp $100 bill in the parking lot as...
