Fye Vegan Chic Food Truck — Restaurant in North Little Rock

One of my favorite food trucks! I got the jackfruit BBQ, fries, and macaroni and chz, and let me just say, I was blown away. First off, the jackfruit BBQ was incredible. It had this savory-sweet flavor that just hit the spot, and the texture was spot on — you'd never guess it wasn't meat! The BBQ sauce was tangy and perfectly complemented the jackfruit. It was messy in the best way possible, with every bite bursting with flavor. I'm so glad I could get coleslaw on it too!

Now, onto the fries. They were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned just right. I couldn't stop munching on them — they were addictively good. I saw that they cut the potato right there as you order! It doesn't get any fresher than that!

And let's not forget about the macaroni and chz. Creamy, "cheesy", and totally comforting. It's amazing how they achieved that cheesy goodness without any dairy. It was the ultimate comfort food and paired perfectly with everything else. My kid loved it!

Overall, this food truck really nailed it with their vegan offerings. The best customer service as they treat everyone like family! The flavors were bold, the portions were generous, and the whole experience left me feeling satisfied and happy. Stopped by the food truck festival on 9/17/23. As a vegan, I was really excited. I got in line around 2 pm to order. Ordering took 30 minutes, even though there were just a few people ahead of me. Then I proceeded to wait another 1.5 hrs for my food. All I ordered was a black bean burger, fries and a water. I waited that whole time with no acknowledgment from the truck staff. They also did not post their no refund policy anywhere. Needless to say by the time I got my food, I didn’t even want it anymore, with the wait and the heat. They also had to call the event staff to help speed up the situation and the truck had to stop orders since they couldn’t handle any volume. The food looked great but for the wait and service it’s not worth it. Along with that, the customer support has not been helpful. I ordered chili cheese fries with green onions. This is what I received, honestly can’t believe they served this. It’s regular onions but they are beyond burnt. Not edible, I would have preferred they said they were out of green onions. That was really careless to serve someone this when they’re paying their MONEY!
