Recently saw the Florence Foster Jenkins play with Christine Donahue at Studio - had never even know it existed. The play was simply wonderful and Studio Theater is a hidden jewel in Little Rock. What a cozy and intimate place! Easy to get to, convenient parking. The theater holds about 95 folks, all good seats and puts you almost “in” the play. Good acoustics and lighting compliments the space without overwhelming. Entrance to the theater is through a nice bar area that is just very comfortable. We noticed a small stage and I promise we will be back to listen to some music! Highly recommend Studio for a visit, to see a play or just to have a Friday...
Read moreI had the immense pleasure & privilege of experiencing yet another musical at this theatre last weekend. "Rock of Ages" was Awesome! My face was melted off (as promised), by some of the best rock tunes of the 80s performed by some of our most talented artists in central AR! Such a fun show bursting with laughs, surprises & totally rad moments from one of the greatest musical eras of our time! You can still catch this show this weekend for their final performances, (if they're not sold out), - tonight, (Friday 05/03) @7:30pm, tomorrow night, same time and Sunday @2:30pm matinee.
