Colombia's Grill Restaurant — Restaurant in North Miami Beach

3 stars only. The place is okay. Not very overpriced. Most of the foods are okay. The lady owner is horrible. And God forgive me, for saying this. Is a evil, monster. Her husband, from I believe Peru. Is a very, nice and gentle gentleman. You can just look in her eyes,. And see, that her only concern, is to fill her pocket with money. Now that I think about it, her husband must be going through hell, at home. And at this business. That he shares with his wife. Once again. Forgive me. But she looks like a gold digger. She is very very rude. Has disrespected, clients in front of me, including my mother, and my wife, and one time my 14 year old daughter. The tamales are great. They don't make them there. They buy them from someone else. They were $8 each. She raise the price to 9. Her husband, is not happy with that. But you can see, that he is scared of her. I pray for him. So he can find a way, to remove her, from the business., and his life. Once again, I am honest. I am popular, on Google local guide. Because I don't beat around the bush. When it comes to leaving a review. I write the good and the bad. I hate talking bad about people. I am full of love. I love everyone in the world. And by the way my wife is from Colombia. So I don't hate Colombian people. I actually have much love for them. But it seems, like she's just a bad apple. Every country, has good people, and bad people. The same with all Races. I don't have a racist bone in me. Once again I am married to a Colombian woman. There is plenty of parking in the back. The waitresses, are wonderful, and kind. They greet you with a big smile. And the service, table service, is great. Please give them good tips. They are working under a stressful environment. When the female owner, is there. At there location store. When she is not there, you can feel the piece in the air. Once again the male owner, from Peru, is a God blessed person. Very humble, very helpful,. If he sees you buying large amounts of takeout food. He's more than happy, to give you a discount. The wife is totally the opposite. She will overcharged you. And include, a service tax. I pray for her. That God will touch her spirit. I am not a religious fanatic. But I do believe, that there's someone somewhere, that keeps me safe, and my children, and my large family. Only one bathroom. Unisex. Very clean. Right across the street, from 163rd Street Mall. Very convenient, to eat, and then cross the street, and go and do your shopping. There is also a Walmart, directly across the street. And a Subways. And an Amscot. And a Chase Bank. I hope I was helpful today. I really do not like to leave these type of reviews. It may sound hateful. But once again keep in mind, I am married, to a wonderful Colombian. Colombian people are beautiful, intelligent, and very hard workers. They come to this country honest. To escape, there misery, in their country. And also to assist, with Monies, to help their families, that cannot leave the country. With Monies. To help them with their bills. This is my second Columbian experience, with a woman, from this country. I have visited there. They are very kind, to American citizens. But once again, they are rotten apples. I hope I was very helpful today. I am going to take a break now. Because I don't feel good, talking bad about anybody. But my job, is to tell the truth. I was looking for a place to order some food and be able to take it home to eat as eating out right now isn’t the best idea. The restaurant picks up the phone and the man on the phone is monotone as he speaks to me and just has poor customer service as he’s on the phone with me. I place an order for 2 Mojarra fritas. One with a side of french fries and maduros. The other one with a side of patacón and ensalada. I go to pick up the order & it was smooth. I should’ve checked the bag, but I was in a rush and the bag that the food was being carried in was practically sealed shut so I assumed everything was in there. I go home and all I received was some fish with lime on top. Nothing else. I call the restaurant to at least maybe get a refund and I could provide some photos or go pick up the rest and they refuse to pick up the phone. A man answered as I kept saying hello & wouldn’t respond. Now when I call, no one answers. It just says line busy. Never going here again. Tip to the restaurant: Pack your food correctly & learn how to answer the phone.

Update: Someone finally answered and said the best thing I can do is pick up the food or hopefully receive a refund, but I have to wait to get a call back from their manager who the man on the phone said “was quite busy.”...

I came in because of a recommendation. I wanted chichirones I know I spelled it wrong but it all sounds the same.There were three people working here......... I stood there for atleast 10 minutes before the youngest young lady asked to help me (in her language) but this is Miami, I understood her. I try to order the above and she said she did not know (I understand). She asked the other lady and she looked at me like I wasn't supposed to be there......... Two guys came in and I asked them for help, they spoke little English but they knew exactly what I was talking about and they put in the order for me and I thanked them. They got their order and left. I'm still standing there for another 5 minutes. I see what looked like my order just sitting there. The lady behind the counter kept looking at me but not saying anything. For another 5 minutes (I tell no lie) this lady continues to look at me with a "How dare you come in here look on her face). I finally got the message and walked out. There was no "Mam here's your order" or anything. I am not biased in any way, born and raised in Miami, can someone please tell me if the way I was made to feel correct? I got the recommendation but I will NEVER...
