Peruvian Kitchen — Restaurant in North Miami Beach

We used to come so often and was really good. If I could do minus 1 star I would. The server was very nice and tried to accommodate but the kitchen was flat-out dangerous. We order soup and chicken. The soup came after the chicken. Soup was green water with washed out rice and boiled potato cooked half away. Taste nothing raw potatoes not edible. My wife is Peruvian and asked if the chef was Peruvian as she was shocked to see the soup like that. Serverwas embarrassed to say no. Here where the danger is. The chicken was not cooked all the way, water still run out of chicken and meet was pink. Not edible and disgusting. Mayonnaise was washed out with vinagre, disgusting. French fries were good. End of meal. Server deserved a tip and we paid her. And because I did eat the fries I paid for the meal anyway. $26 of pure garbage, one day someone will get very sickwith raw chicken. A pure shame as it use to be one of...

Terrible service. I called to place an order of Pollo Rostizado and two order of Chaufa Mixto (only chicken and steak). I made sure and repeated myself twice to please make the chaufa only with steak and Chicken NO seafood because my kids are allergic to seafood and they told me not to worry that my order was going to be ready in 30min. When my husband went to get the order 30min later, the Chicken Rostizado wasn’t ready or they probably gave it to somebody else and we realize when we got home with the Chaufa that it had Seafood after I told them so many times that NO Seafood because my Kids are Allergic. Therefore my husband and I had to drive again over there to order again the Chaufa and told them the situation and they gave us attitude. Hello!!! You guys were the one the did the mistake. My kids almost ate that rice!!! Terrible Terrible!! I’m never going...

I stop by here because I wanted to try something different. The staff was super pleasant and nice she was able to interpret the menu and the menu is also available in Spanish/English. I purchased white rice, black bean, and steak. As far as taste it was pretty good but not the best I ever had. I was really expecting this place to blow my socks off but I think I set the bar too high. I'm going to try one more item on the menu. I wanted to give it a 3 stars but I'm giving it a 4 star because of my experience...
