Gateway Park — Attraction in Sunny Isles Beach

Named Gateway because it is located at the gateway to Sunny Isles Beach, Gateway Park is part of Gateway Center, a new 15,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility built specifically for the usage and enjoyment of residents. It includes a social alley with game tables, ballroom, classrooms, and catering kitchen. Parking for Gateway Park and the center is in the $2 an hour Gateway Park Parking Garage which is connected to both.

I really enjoyed my visit to this well designed 5 acre park. Park amenities include a performance stage, beach themed playground, interactive fountain that kids can play in, picnic tables and benches, open play area, outdoor shower, and my favorite, a butterfly botanical garden that winds around the back of the stage. There are so many beautiful butterfly attracting plants in this area.

Surrounding the park are a lot of places to eat and the beach is across the street. This is such a great location to catch a concert, take the kids to play and splash, picnic, and just enjoy nature while surrounded by the high rises...

Is a perfect park for all age. There are garage parking not free but pat for hour (not for all day). You can reach the beach also walking from the park. In the park there is a big green area with real grass. Perfect for a lot of game for the kids or lie down on. There is nice water area bring a change for your kids and there is a playground. It's one of the newest in sunny isle so it's well maintained. There is a stage for event. Sometime there are some events here. Back to the stage nice area a lot of flowers and butterflies.
