La Mesa Catracha Restaurant — Restaurant in North Miami

I placed my pick up order over the phone . The employee that took my order was very nice over the phone and showed the same energy in person . The restaurant was clean and seemed to be a nice chill spot to eat and chat . The food on the other hand , for my first experience at the restaurant was not good . The beef in my ‘pan con bistec’ was dry and didn’t taste fresh . The bread was very hard .I want to say stale like , but I know the excuse is going to be that it was “toasted” although that may be true it just didn’t taste fresh . The veggies on the sandwich were fresh . The baleada was okay . The tortilla probably could’ve been cooked a little longer I say that due to the dough like taste and texture to it . Also I would’ve like just a tad bit more crema . I’m going to assume I probably caught the cook on a bad day because I see pictures of the food and it does look delicious plus the prices are by far the best in Miami .
