This morning we ate here and had a bad experience. We went here just because we were looking for pancakes and went to the closest place we could find. We went around 10:30 and there was not a whole lot of people there but a large party on one side of the resturant. When we went in we had a wait a little which was to be expected, when we sat down we greeted and our drink order was taken. No problems. When we ordered our food there was little confusion with the menu due to the server not knowing the menu well (this still wasn’t an issue bc I use to the server so I understand when your new that things can be a little confusing). BUT we told him exactly what we wanted. Then we waited...and waited...and about an hour passed and we were still being told that our food would be out shortly. Then after that hour the server came to my husband and told him that they were out of apples and would need to pick a different topper for the pancakes. At that point we were hungry, our 2 small children where losing it, and now the original item we had ordered wasn’t even an option anymore. We just wanted to eat so my husband told him chocolate chips. We waited another 15-20 minutes after that. When we got our food they topped my husbands pancakes with strawberries and chocolate chips and we were told they threw some strawberries on there as basically a “sorry”. But my husband didn’t ask for them or want them. It was a nice gesture I guess, but my husband didn’t want them or like them. We ended up picking the strawberries off and giving them to one of our little girls. My meal was missing a pancake and we ended up just telling him to discount it off bc I was no about to wait forever to get it. He ended up bringing one out anyway and we just left it at that point. My brother was so angry he took the rest of his food to go just so we could get out of here. Like I said, I use to serve, I get it. I understand the blame is on the kitchen staff, but really, it was a...

EDITED TO ADD AFTER OWNER COMMENT OF 'HAVE A GREAT DAY':

And to the Owner who responds to all reviews less than 5 star --- How about address the issues customers are stating instead of saying "Have a great day!" This looks like you just don't care, but you do because you are responding to all the reviews!!!!!!!!!

We (Party of 2) stopped in about 11am on a Thursday morning and the place was dead. The atmosphere of the place was very appealing and clean. The host (an older woman) was exceptional and pleasant. The waitress was fine, but after she delivered our food to the table, we didn't see her again until we were done eating. The location of our table let us see she was sitting in the back. It would have been nice for her to check to see if there was anything else we might have needed (Which we did, but it went unanswered because by the time she came back we were just ready to leave). Without asking, and napkins on our plates, she refilled our drinks and then asked if we wanted a to go drink. The ranch is horrendous tasting and was probably just a premade container. The restaurants that make their own ranch (buttermilk, mayo, seasoning packet) are SO much better. I am a bit of a ranch snob and I tend to not return to places with bad ranch. The Chicken Tenders that my 16 year old ordered were in fryer too long which caused the outside to be inedible on most of the chicken tenders. The cheeseburger was to be done medium well but was over cooked and dry. We won't be back. Too many other options around to spend over $40 w/...

Stop by and grabed some breakfast. Seems to be a restaurant visited by many locals. Good size inside lots of tables, I was greeted by a friendly lady that brought me to my seat and told me that Pam would be my waitress. Has kind of been older vibe to the place I think you can tell it had opened back up in the 70s but everything was clean and tidy. I ordered the pancakes with blueberries on top all though when I got them the blueberries were actually in the pancakes himself. I didn't mind that but the way the menu is written it seems like it's a top in other than something cooked inside. The pancakes were pretty good the only thing I didn't care about them was the blueberries had kind of a slight metallic taste to them. I would guess that they are canned blueberries not fresh not that it makes that big of a difference to me at least, but it did have a slight off taste to them. Everyone was super friendly, I mean extremely friendly and helpful very good wait staff. They had a quite a bit of traffic coming and going so I would guess this is overall a pretty good place to try out. The only other thing I would question is on my bill which was only $14 and change but there was a $0.37 processing fee? Not sure what that is, but since I had such a small bill I didn't question. I did see on the bill they offer a 3%...

I took the family here mostly due to the proper hash browns in some other reviewers photos. (home fries are not hash browns. I do not like home fries. I will live with this burden) Service was excellent. We were there early on a weekday and not a lot of tables were in use. Our server was quite nice, and left a pot of coffee on the table. Everything was prepared as requested, so no complaints there. Coffee was fresh, but bland. Pancakes were unremarkable, as was everything else. Breakfast is easy to get right, but easier to get wrong. Spiro gets it right

First time here. Greeted warmly by the staff. I ordered the gravy biscuit and a side of sausage. My girlfriend ordered the French toast plate. Everything was on point. Gravy was peppery with plenty of sausage. The best part of the meal was the elderly couple who apparently are regulars, arrived to a reserved table with a small dog in tow. The owner came out with a small biscuit just for the dog. Talking to the couple, the dogs picture is actually on the wall of the restaurant. Will definitely come back next time in town. Thank you for a great meal.
