Ordered two Sundays with pecans, two double cheese burger meals which included 21 oz drink and fries. All the food was delicious and you won’t find better ice cream in Ogden. The price… $33. That’s a steep price. I gave two stars due to the type of service I received. I was given the two drinks at the window, and asked to pull forward to wait for the rest. Next came the two Sundays. They were filled above the rim (which should be a good thing, they maximized the serving size). But it was really actively dripping on all sides. They included two very tiny napkins, already covered in ice cream. I asked if they had more napkins that were bigger, the kid looked panicked, so I said never mind. My car only has two cup holders which were already occupied by the two 21 oz drinks, so I simply stacked the ice creams on top of the drinks. Ice cream was getting everywhere. The burgers took a while to come out, that meant more ice cream everywhere. I thought it was customary for restaurants to offer cup holders when you order more than two drinks.?.? Anyways, the drive home was scary, I was trying to balance the ice creams on top of the fountain drinks with one hand while making all of the turns to get home. My feedback to the restaurant: the food is good, the price is high, but with that price it should include some thought and care for how customers can safely and cleanly transport your delicious ice cream home. After that visit, I will be hard pressed to go back for a while, but I think I will because , like I said, it is...
Read moreWORST food ever! We decided to give Nielsen's a try and it was a costly mistake! We pulled right up to the drive-thru and placed our order of 3 orders of chicken tenders and 2 orders of fries and 3 concretes and it was almost $63! As we pulled up to the window we could see there were several workers and most of them were standing around talking to each other. They handed us the concretes first which was a mistake because the food still had to cook so the concretes started to melt right away. After waiting 15 minutes at the window (and watching the workers continue to chat) they told us to pull forward and they would bring our order out. It took another 10 minutes to get the order and so we handed them back the concrete that was melted in a puddle and asked them to remake it because the food had taken so long. All the people behind us in line had gotten their food and left. No way this order should have taken this long! When we got home (less than 5 minutes) the chicken tenders were almost burnt and really thin and chewy and the fries were cold and soggy and everyone was so disappointed! The concretes were so melted and not that great tasting. We threw most of it away since it was such bad quality. None of us will ever go there again so I would stay away...
Read moreUDPATE: After talking with the owner he gave me a gift certificate to make up for the melty disaster. Much better this time. The chocolate flavor is rich and creamy and it was delicious. The reason for not 5 stars is 1) the price: I got 2 concretes with a couple mix-ins and it was over $19. That's insane. 2) Even though I got my concretes very quickly the still made a mess in the car because the ice cream is above the top of the cup. Normally that's great but you have to have a bubble lid to contain it if it's to go. Overall delicious, but pricey.
Original Review: The flavor of the custard was good, but I was given three melty messes. I waited for probably 15 minutes in the drive thru and then ordered the custards. Then I was asked to pull forward and waited another 15 while 8-9 cars passed me. At this point I realized they must have forgotten my order. I went up to the counter and was presented with a drippy mess and asked “is that ok?” I said no it will get all over my car. Rather than offering to remake them (which should have been the FIRST thing they did and not even asking if it’s ok) the guy “helping” me said he’d “clean them up”. By the time I got home they were so melty you could drink them with a straw. Not a great first...
