In most Starbucks, I feel welcomed and respected. It gives me a place to work quietly on my laptop, especially since I travel often across the United States and to other countries, like China, Korea, and the Middle East.
However, at this location I was treated with such rudeness and unkindness that I feel compelled to warn others against hanging out there.
Perhaps for a to go order it might be okay. But I was made to feel as if hanging out and drinking coffee with in this location was not okay, and was treated with such a brutal abrasiveness that I question what was going on in their lives for them to be so mean to me.
I, unfortunately, won't be returning to this location. The views of the surrounding mountains are breathtaking, and if staffed by the typically kind and socially engaging crew of a normal Starbucks I would return to this location in a heartbeat.
But, for whatever reason, this location doesn't seem to be doing so well in their interpersonal skills.

Read moreI've worked fast food and I get it when there's a huge rush trying to finish orders, it can be difficult to get to everyone and sometimes you have to hold the line up front. However, if I'm cleaning or trying to close because there is no orders and a customer comes I IMMEDIATELY stop and take their order. There were 2 employees changing trash and mopping the floors and said nothing when I got in line. They talked with their friends who were lingering around as if I wasn't even there. Another few minutes passed of them cleaning before finally someone took my order. I got in line at 5 and they don't close until 7:30 and there shouldn't have been a rush to close. Honestly it felt rude and very inconsiderate of them to have me standing there watching them clean and talk with friends. I should've just left and not have...

Ok, it's only $.54 moving on. Then I watched her add water to the fill line in the cup because she ran out of the tea base and did not have enough to reach the fill line in the cup. I ended up with a considerably bland cup of tea. So this locations standards of quality are very low to non existent. They could be doing this with any beverage that you payed $5+ For. She didn't even try to hide it. What's going on when your not looking. Americana because there out of Sumatra? Whole milk and water added to the 2% because there low or out? You just never know.... I usually enjoy the location but after that visit I was pretty irritated.beside the location in Smiths North...
