Dunkin' — Restaurant in North Olmsted

I had to walk out of there this morning after waiting forever in the store and getting snapped at by some woman with a southern accent. There is no drive thru there but evidently the staff is only concerned about online orders, door dash, etc.... The customers at the register are ignored for long periods of time. I finally get addressed and all I wanted was a coffee, I give her my order she rang up like 3 things fumbled with the register then turns to a kid and what I thought was her telling him my coffee order, it wasn't right so I said no I wanted salted caramel and she whipped her head around and snapped back and said NOT YOU! Um okay, Pardon me lady, you were taking MY order so why would I think you weren't talking about it. That was enough for me to grab my keys and walk out. That woman appears to be a ticking time bomb masking her unhappiness with an exaggerated southern accent calling everybody baby and sugar. Im a grown woman trying to get coffee in an establishment dont call me baby, sugar, or sweetie especially when its fake and I just heard the devil come out of you. just get me my...

Clean place. Good workers. (Ice cream cakes are too expensive though.)

UPDATE AS OF JANUARY 17TH, 2025... I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE AND THE PEOPLE THAT WORK THERE! THEY ARE VERY KIND! EVEN THE CUSTOMERS! I WENT FOR MY BIRTHDAY ON JANUARY 17TH AND I WAS HAVING PROBLEMS PAYING THROUGH THE GOOGLE WALLET! I HAD PAID WITH AN E-GIFT CARD FROM DUNKIN DONUTS AND STILL HAD A BALANCE OF $5.00 AND SOME CHANGE AND THIS KIND GENTLEMAN BEHIND ME CAME RIGHT UP THE THE REGISTER AND PAID THE BALANCE FOR ME! I GOT EMOTIONAL AND TOLD HIM HE HAD JUST GIVEN ME A GIFT BY DOING THAT BC IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY! HE SAID HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND THE NICE LADY THAT WAS WITH HIM AND THEN ANOTHER CUSTOMER SAID HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND THE MANAGER GAVE ME A FREE TREAT WHICH I THOUGHT WAS VERY KIND OF HIM! THEY ALL MADE MY BIRTHDAY SPECIAL FOR ME AND I'M VERY THANKFUL AND GRATEFUL! THEN I WENT AGAIN A FEW DAYS AGO AND THE MANAGER GAVE MY HUSBAND AND I FREE APPLE FRITTERS! I HAD ASKED IF THEY GAVE DISCOUNTS FOR PEOPLE 60 AND OVER AND HE WAS KIND ENOUGH TO GIVE US THOSE FREE! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!...

I would give a 0 star if possible. The employees were extremely rude and dismissive. They "forgot" to make me and my wife's drinks while servicing everyone else quickly and with a smile. When we asked for our drinks we were given an attitude as if we were somehow inconveniencing them. The shift leader who we spoke to walked away to service other customers and a few minutes later we finally got our drinks. They placed them down just short of my wife's outreached hands as if refusing to hand them to her, they wouldn't look us in the eye, smile, apologize, or tell us to have a good day. On top of this my drink was wrong. We were shocked, embarrassed, and outraged by the difference in treatment we received, as an interracial couple, my wife being the only black person in the store. Rest assured we will never return to this location again and most likely will never return to Dunkin Donuts in general. It is amazing how low the quality of service is here in comparison...
