Seeing Double Speakeasy Bar — Restaurant in North Olmsted

First off I will give this visit two ratings. One is for the musician, Furious George, who was great and deserves a 5 star rating and you should definitely see him. The other is for the venue and service we received. The location is clean and neatly appointed with a small bar, regular tables and also some high tops. There are wines and some champagne's displayed along one wall and also along the front window. Those I wondered if they would be sellable being that they are subject to the sun on a daily basis. The owners were just starting out and maybe they needed a helper. The female owner who took one of our drink orders for champagne had to chill it. So needless to say that took a very long time to get together to say the least. You may think that they would have something to quick chill orders. She never asked the rest of our table what they wanted. My other half finally went to the bar and got his own beer several times. Another friend with us was NEVER asked what he wanted as many times as the female owner was at our table. I finally went to the bar and asked the guy owner if he could come over for a drink order for him. We had been there close to an hour by then! Hopefully they will step up their game so to speak to survive in this kind of business. We will go somewhere else to see George play...

We came in an hour after the bar opened, and there was no one inside. We were the first ones. I needed some time to look over the menu, that's when probably 12-15 people came in. The server went over to take orders, and start making drinks, and she never stopped back to see if I wanted a drink or not. 20 minutes passed and even with another server, they were right in front of us, making drinks for everyone else, not once recognizing I needed something. In fact they barely made eye contact. Both servers were in extremely slow motion the whole time, and we were so over it that we wanted to leave. We literally had to flag one of them down right in front of us just to cash out so we could leave. We had cash, in hand and ready to pay. They hadn't even counted their register, so we had to wait another 10 mins on that. The ambiance was weird. The decor was weird. Stained ceiling tiles, and curtains everywhere just seemed tacky. The strip mall location was weird. All of that could of been overlooked, had we gotten better service. We...

We've been to seeing double a handful of times now as it's very close to our home. The drinks are spectacular, the atmosphere and design is excellent, however every time we go we get worse and worse service. It had gotten so bad that our last time at seeing double we had to leave before our first round of drinks showed up as we had been waiting for over 30 minutes and watched the surrounding tables all recieve their drinks and as well as the other party at our table get their drink even tho they ordered a substantial amount of time after us. Additionally, on our visit prior to this, the service was no better, the dinning room was full of empty glasses and people looking around for their server. We actually had to go up to our waitress (who was taking shots at the time) behind the bar and hand them our card and check after they dropped the check off at our table and didn't return for 25 minutes. It is a shame that this establishment has such a great menu and venue yet fails to provide service...
