Stopped by on my way home from work since I work right across the street and ordered an 8 piece bucket of chicken at the drive thru and specified NO WINGS. I even chatted with the drive thru attendant while getting my food about not wanting the wings and why which we both laughed about and agreed on. I get home from work and the 8 piece bucket was half wings! I should have noticed because the bucket felt like there was little to no chicken in it. Unfortunately not even close to enough food to feed my family so I decided to drive back for a refund. I went into the store and first spoke with the drive thru attendant that remembered my order and our conversation. He was apologetic and called over the manager on duty to assist me. She was nothing but rude. I explained to her that I just drove over 28 miles round trip to return the food that I paid $19.78 for because my order was completed botched up. She opens the bucket and asks in a sarcastic voice "where is the rest of the chicken"? My family was waiting for dinner so I left the other 4 pieces (2 legs and 2 breasts) for them to eat. This rude manager on duty easily and rightfully should have refunded my money but refused and only credited me back a little over $6.00 and took back the 4 wings. Even after explaining to her what happened she did not care. I would have been fired or at least written up if I treated a customer that way. I will never go back to this establishment for the way I was treated and for anyone reading this you should go to Buds Chicken located just next door. Read moreToday I visited this location for the 1st time at 4:24pm. And according to my receipt my cashier was Smithmckinley. Did not catch the manager name. But he was a skinny, young, african American man with shoulder length dreads. I ordered the 12 honey bbq nugget combo and was charged for a chicken sandwich combo and given a chicken sandwich. I paid cash for that order. When I reentered drive thru to purchased another 12 nugget combo I noticed my original order was wrong. I never received a receipt for the original my 1st orginal order. When I asked why the manager responded I didn't ask for one. The cashier was rude, did not greet me or even seem happy to be here. Showed no type of interest in even checking my order to see if the order was right before giving it to me.The manager pretended like he refunded the original order and charged me for another 12 peice, but never did my refund. I never received a refunded receipt. It never came back to my card and my bank shows no pending transaction for a refund. This is showing bad management and fraudulent behavior. Now I'm out of almost $33.00 for cold nuggets with fresh fries. I will never eat here again, I will stick to the Blue Heron location from now on. 8/7/2025 – I walked in politely and ordered a #12 combo with fries and a Famous Bowl, to go. When I got home, I realized the fries were missing.
I went back and explained that I didn’t receive my fries. The woman who took my order immediately argued with me, insisting she didn’t ring it up as a combo. If that were true, then why did she hand me a drink cup after I paid?
She then turned her back and told another employee, “Just give it to him, I know I put it in there.” Thankfully, the young man she spoke to kindly handed me my fries.
I left upset — not because they forgot my fries, but because of the unnecessary argument I had to go through just to get the food I paid for.
