I’m a New Yorker. I loved the last place that was here before they went downhill. I’ve been reading reviews of this place since they opened. We decided to try them out for ourselves.
If you come in here expecting a NY style pizza, or any normal circular pizza… just stop. This is not that. This is not your usual pizza. So don’t come in here with that expectation. This obviously regional pizza from Maryland is a flaky cracker type crust pizza with a sweet sauce and smoked provolone cheese. I ordered my pizza with extra sauce and pepperoni. Given what I ordered, it was great!! For smoked provolone, it is very mild, honestly the texture is a little heavier than mozzarella, but otherwise the flavor of the cheese is not super distinguishable from mozzarella, but I had a lot of pepperoni so the smoked flavor may have been lost to the pepperoni. The sauce is sweet which I prefer. The crust was cooked perfectly for what it was, it was soft, unlike Pizza Hut thin crust which is like a cardboard cracker, if you want a reference. Now we had also ordered the chicken fingers, which were really soggy when ordered with a sauce, I even tried putting them in my air fryer but they were somehow then burned and soggy at the same time. Probably wouldn’t order those again. Blue cheese is very good, it’s thick, not a thin dressing like you get in some places, and they give you a large size with your order.
Service was very friendly…. Extra amazingly friendly. I left with a smile on my face.
So overall, we would definitely order again. We were...

We ordered a 14" pizza with black olives and bacon on it. My wife and I both agree on the following:
-CRUST was not very good at all; it was like eating cracker dough that had not finished baking. Whoever slices the pizza in the kitchen didn't cut the edges of the crust at all, so we had to struggle with a butter knife to saw through it. -SAUCE: We had read that the sauce would be a sweet tomato sauce, but unfortunately, we couldn't even taste or see the sauce. -CHEESE: The cheese had very little taste to it, they might as well have not even put it on the pizza. -BACON: Had a very hard consistency to it and did not taste very good. -BLACK OLIVES: These were very good. -We also ordered two LITTLE brownies for dessert; they tasted like something you would pull from the freezer at Sam's Club.
OVERALL IMPRESSION: Service great, Food absolutely horrible. We ate only a couple of pieces of the pizza each and took the rest home. At home I sliced up the leftovers and fed them to the fish in my backyard pond.
We drove 60 miles very excited to try this place and it was a very disappointing trip. We cannot in good conscience recommend this pizza...
Read moreMy wife and I went there for dinner. We sat in their "bar" area at a high top. There was a baseball game on so that was nice to watch while we were there. Our waitress was very nice. My wife ordered a salad. I ordered some garlic parmesan wings and one of their personal sized square pizzas. The wings came out and the flavor was good but they were barely warm. The last one I bit into was ice cold, I did not finish that one. I said something to the waitress. Her reply was "I will tell the kitchen so the next time they have a large wing like, they cook it longer." The rest of the dinner came out. My wife said the chicken on her salad wasn't very warm either. The little pizza was the worst I've ever had. The crust was like cardboard. The sauce was completely bland and flavorless. Then while we were eating another staff member came over to the bar area and put both tvs on VH1 to some reality show. Didn't even ask if we may have been watching either of the tvs or the game. We got dessert and it was the only decent thing...
